The beds were super comfy. The bathroom was beautiful and the common area was overused by us. We loved the common area and made ourselves at home. It was stocked with what we needed, wine glasses, cork screws and utensils. all in all it was a homey and cozy experience.

Old house charm for people not in a hurry

We stopped for one night with our two teenagers on our way back home. We stayed in “Molly’s Garden”, a spacious room with 2 comfortable queen-sized beds at the top of the staircase. The in-room AC unit pumped hot air on the teenagers bed on and off all night long and had trouble warming up the room. However it was still a comfortable stay overall. We did have communication issues with the host who emailed us 3 min before breakfast time to ask us if we wanted breakfast when they knew we were in a hurry to get back on the road. Not to mention we couldn’t respond because the reply button linked only to generic FAQs on Hotels.com.
