"Our room was... Okay at best. Found another person's underwear behind a stool, shower curtain was stained and the shower itself looked grungy, outlets were falling out of the wall or couldn't hold a phone charger. Walls were paper thin, could hear the room next door clearing their throat. We come down to this area from NH once a year, and we wont stay here again."

"We typically stay in name brand hotels when visiting family in the Gettysburg area, but we decided to give downtown a try this trip. We did not regret it. The hotel is lovely and so, so convenient. It was great being in the center of the action! We will choose Hotel Gettysburg over the chains when we visit in future."

"Our room had a terrible musty odor, and it was very warm. The air conditioner worked well to cool it off, but was so loud we could not sleep so we had to shut it off. The couch and chair in the room were rather uncomfortable. The breakfast was decent, fair amount of choices. Check in and check out was easy."
