"The two days that we stayed there, they were replacing all the queen beds. So, instead of a standard double queen we got a handicap accessible room. The beds were fine, but the shower curtain is about 1 foot two short, which causes water to spray all over the bathroom floor. The staff gave us lots of towels to clean up, but it was still a pain. I know they're trying to keep everything the same in all the rooms, but the accessible rooms need longer shower curtains!"

"Nice and cozy, although the couch could use an upgrade. There was not a fire pit by the house as stated(way better by lake any way). Otherthan that, very enjoyable stay. The grounds are very spacious with great landcaping. Bring your corn hole set or other lawn toys. Firepit on lake was absolutely perfect for evening fires."

"This property is amazing…just like the view! This was our second time staying at this cabin and it doesn’t disappoint! Shawn and Ed have thought of everything, kitchen is well stocked. For me, the screened porch is the best - morning tea and a book! And, the location to the state parks makes it easy to plan your hike for the day. Check out their library of books on parks, hiking, sites. Great, restful, stay."

"Cabin was better than expected. Some short comings in kitchen tools but we made our meals work fine with what we had. Nice place to get away for a week. One of us hiked various trails and the other one stayed on the grounds happily. Lighthouse stairway was a problem for my friend. He stayed downstairs. I would rent this place again!"

"This lodge has it all; beautiful setting, adequate bedrooms for a large crew, spacious rooms for hanging out and a a fabulous deck. We had a wonderful time and everyone in our group has mentioned wanting to come back. We had a group ages 18-82 and the space accommodated us all. We appreciated the views of the river and the easy access to many of the nearby state parks. Additionally, the screened-in porch was perfect during a rainy day and the game table fit us comfortable for some poker matches. One of our group needed to work a couple of the days and the office met their needs efficiently. We can't wait to come back!"
