"Our family absolutely loved the property; it was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, perfect amount of room, in a beautiful country-side environment, The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy a family get-away (dishes, pots & pans, grill, and firepit) which we utilized for family fun. The host was beyond friendly and communicative. We saw lots of different wildlife there were deer, wild turkey, and others. We definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away from the busy world."

"The hotel is slightly dated, not too bad for a mid-price hotel. The breakfast, though, is another story. In a word, awful. In another, inadequate. If you don't like waffles, there wasn't much for you. Hard pass on gloppy, greasy, out-of-a-can (I saw the can) gravy, really poor-quality biscuits, and flat little omelets with cheddar cheese inside. Two choices of cereal, bananas or apples, bog-standard muffins, some white or wheat bread. We ended up going to McDonald's for breakfast the second morning, and that's a shame considering what you pay for a hotel room with "free" (nah) breakfast. I remember when hotels first started offering breakfasts, and Hampton was one of the earliest and best. How the mighty are fallen."

"Fabulous cabin and fishing pond!! What an amazing property. The cabin was super clean (and smelled so fresh and nice!), was fully stocked, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I loved the large deck and gas grill, the full size washer & dryer, the fridge with ice/water dispenser, the roomy master shower, and the hot tub with a privacy screen. There's a Dollar General store across the way, and a train runs directly behind the cabin several times a day, but it doesn't impair the serenity and beauty of the property, and didn't bother us at all. The location is still very quiet and peaceful, and the view is lovely. My husband and son caught several catfish in the pond and had a great time. Martha was kind and quick in responding to messages, and there were snacks and a bottle of local wine waiting for us when we checked in. The landscaping is gorgeous, and the cabin is decorated so nicely. I enjoyed the fall decorations placed throughout the cabin, right down to the coffee mugs with cute fall sayings and the scented hand soap in the bathrooms. Such a nice touch! Very impressed with this cabin, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Excellent stay. The property was quiet and peaceful (besides our children lol). Plenty of space with a great view. A lot to do in the area. The house was really well remodeled and maintained. Be sure to bring some wasp spray for outside though as there are quite a few nests on the house. We enjoyed fishing and using the hot tub. We would definitely stay again in the future."
