"So much was excellent. The value for money is spot on and even though the restaurant is pricey for Portugal, it's still very good value. Breakfast was far more than we'd expected, especially after some poor offerings elsewhere. Fresh cake, cereal, meat, cheese, scrambled eggs, tea, coffee, yoghurt, ..."

"Wonderful accommodation in this mountain retreat. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Very close to the castle. Loved the hot tub snd took advantage everyday. We added a 3rd day to just enjoy the experience. Dining options were limited but good. Recommended."

"El entorno de la casa tiene muchísimo encanto y eso compensa la dificultad para llegar. Hay que tener cuidado si se intenta acceder de noche con las indicaciones del GPS. Algunos colchones son mejorables y se sale a veces el agua de la ducha pero en general, muy bien todo."
