South Seas Resort Beach Villas 🏝 On The Beach

South Seas 2527 is located in the Beach Villas area of the South Seas Resort and is directly on the beach. The unit is a one bedroom condominium located on the second floor of a stilt building, there is an elevator available. The beautiful sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico, along with the condo pool can be viewed from the private lanai. This unit is recently updated. This comfortable unit has one king size bed located in the bedroom and pull out queen size sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully stocked, there is an inside and outside dining table for your enjoyment. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels are provided with the stay. In addition, you will have access to the beach, pool, pickleball, tennis courts and BBQ grills located in the front of the unit. There are many restaurants located outside of the gates of South Seas Resort.


** This unit is not part of the South Seas Rental Program so guests will not be able to use the amenities of the resort including the resort water park, resort golf course, resort restaurants and Point pool.

Wonderful Getaway!

Wonderful condo near the beach

My spouse and I have stayed here several times and always have a great stay! The condo is always clean and well-stocked with everything we’d need; tons of towels, soap, cooking supplies, and beach chairs/umbrellas. The screened balcony is a perfect place to relax after returning from the beach, too.

Great Family Getaway

Conveniently located property with all the necessary items to enjoy the beach! Our boys had a great time, the beach is just a short walk away and you can watch the sunset right on the balcony!

Great place for a great vacation

The apartment has a perfect location. We enjoyed the space and the amenities like very comfortable king size bed, beautiful decoration, spacious patio with ocean view. The apartment is very well and generously equipped like a lots of towels and kitchen ware. The apartment is a part of a beautiful gated vacation community. We highly recommend booking this unit and also look forward to our return.

Beautiful Villa on Water!

We loved our stay at Captiva! It was truly a vacation in paradise. We recognize there was some construction from the storms, but we focused on the beauty of the beach, the wildlife, the sunsets, the shells, and the water. Our meals at area restaurants were amazing! It was truly an amazing trip. Our villa was very clean, well-stocked, and we did not want the long weekend to end.

A wonderful get-away!

This property was beautifully located and perfectly maintained. We were comfortable and enjoyed this perfectly stocked condo. It had everything one could possibly want. It was lovely inside and out. We enjoyed the view and the comfortable balcony for eating and relaxing. Being fully screened was a bonus. Living in Florida, we expect a lot for our coastal get-aways, and this property was a win. We look forward to a return stay!

Captivated by Captiva

This sweet island is still recovering from the hurricane, but is still a charming little place to visit the seashore and of course pick up a “few” seashells. There are plenty of wonderful places to eat and shop. This little condo had everything you will need to enjoy your time on the island. The complex pool was awesome. Everything was clean and the hostess responded quickly to our messages.

Excellent beach getaway

The property is beautiful, clean, well-supplied and perfectly located on the beach. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Although renters cannot use the resort’s amenities (including restaurants), the host has supplied great beach chairs, umbrellas and toys so that’s not an issue. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s not possible to adjust the temperature of the unit yourself. I’ve never encountered this before. As northerners starved for fresh air, we would have loved to turn the unit off in order to open the sliding door to the breeze and sound of the surf. Excellent stay, though, even so.

Sweet Spot on Captiva

This is a nice old style 1 bedroom condo/apt. It only has a view on one large sliding glass door, but it is a great view. There is also a nice lanai with the same beautiful view. There are no laundry facilities in the apt., but there are one available in the building. The location is perfect, if you like to walk on the beach. It is not a crowded area right now, as many units and other houses are under construction. Shop before you get there, so you can spend your time on the beach, instead driving to get groceries. Elizabeth is an excellent host. She friendly, responsive and informative.

Wonderful stay!

We just spent a perfect week at this lovely beachside condo. It was spotlessly clean, the furnishings appeared new and the king bed and pull out couch were super comfortable. This unit has everything you need and conveniently located close to town. Absolutely no complaints!! The beach is gorgeous and we enjoyed finding shells in the morning and beautiful sunsets from the porch in the evening. We rented bikes and had a super fun time riding around town and to the local restaurants RC Otters, Mucky duck and the fabulous farmers market on Tuesday! The host was really responsive and we had an easy time checking in and out. Will definitely be back!!

Beautiful condo very close to the beach

My husband and I have stayed here twice, and have really enjoyed our time here each time. The condo is always clean and well-stocked when we arrive, and it was especially convenient to have beach umbrellas and chairs provided so we didn’t have to pay to rent them elsewhere. The screened porch faces west so the sunset views are great. It’s a treat to watch the pelicans and other seabirds flying right by the balcony! The beach is only a 2 minute walk away and there are several excellent restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. We definitely recommend this unit and appreciate the owner always being so communicative!

Loved it

What a great stay. Barely anyone around due to hurricane recovery but the room accomodations were spot on and in perfect shape. Everything needed was there down to salt/pepper and no filters needed for the coffee pot. Walkways to the beach were restored and pool right outside this unit is almost ready (another was close by). Island store (baileys) just a bike ride away had a surpisingly almost full grocery store stock avail. Great sunset views from the room. Highly recommended for your next beach get-away.

On the Beach

We enjoyed our stay in spite of the construction work going on. Not really bothersome and the workers were very nice. The condo is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Liz is the perfect host! She kept us apprised of the construction several months out of our arrival which was extremely helpful. She was very attentive and answered my messages in a timely manner. We would definitely come back in the future. South Seas is a beautiful resort!!!

Lovely condo with stellar view

Liz's condo is refurbished with high end finishes that match the lovely view of the Pacific. We especially loved the sliders that allowed us to have an indoor -outdoor feeling. She thoughtfully provided coffee and cream, salt and pepper and Kleenex. We appreciated the nearby grills and boardwalk to the beach. Nearby osprey nests added to our feeling that Captiva is on the mend. South Seas itself has a ways to go to provide a true resort experience but our goal to support the community we love was met and Liz's condo was a taste of what's to come.

Perfect location!

We've been coming to Captiva for the last ten years staying in various condos in the same area. You can't beat the location, steps from the beach and very close to shops and restaurants. Just park the car and enjoy! Although all the places we've stayed are very nice I would say this one has been the best. Very tastefully decorated along with everything you need for your stay. We were there for ten days and Elizabeth made sure we had plenty of towels, even for the beach. The beach chairs and umbrellas were in good shape. Most places we've stayed they've been old and rusty with pieces of broken umbrellas. Especially the condos listed as luxury... There was no need to reach Elizabeth as everything was perfect! Would highly recommend this unit!

A Beautiful Property

The property was beautiful with a direct view of the gulf and spectacular sunsets from the unit balcony. There was also a nice pool between the unit and the ocean and a boardwalk out to the beginning of the beach which was very nice. The unit itself was very clean and everything was as advertised and I was able to access the apartment directly with the code provided by Elizabeth. It was not necessary to stop in an office on arrival or departure. Elizabeth was also very responsive to any questions I had and offered some good tips for the area. The unit is located very near the entrance of the resort which made it an easy walk to Captiva's main drag of Andy Rosse Lane. If you are after the Captiva experience this is a great place to stay. On the other side if you think Sanibel and Captiva are basically the same, they aren't. Captiva is a great little beach town, very condensed and walkable. Sanibel Island, which is right next to Captiva Island separated by a small bridge, is much larger, generally not walkable but with bike trails all over the island and many natural areas, such as Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge and gulf side beaches. The drive from the resort in Captiva to Ding Darling NWR is 20 minutes and most Sanibel shops and restaurants are still farther. With that said this WAS a great place to stay in Captiva!

Perfect getaway

Perfectly described. The unit was clean and comfortable. Super short walk to the pool and beach. Sunsets were absolutely magical. Everything we needed was in a short distance from the unit (post office, Boops for sorbet, ice cream, the Green Flash was delicious for dinner with a wonderful view of the bay, to name a few).* be sure to take your phone in case the wifi on the door lock is spotty and needs to be reset by the host. Elizabeth responded so quickly and had us back in our room within a minute or two. We would definitely return! Captiva is just breathtaking and this unit did not disappoint.
