Captiva Beach Sunset is located on North Captiva Island—a remote, bridge-free barrier island accessible only by boat or private plane. There are no cars, no traffic, and no stress. Guests arrive via ferry or private charter (we recommend Island Girl Charters) and explore the island by golf cart.

This home is managed by Shally’s Seashells Property Management, a trusted local team that provides grocery stocking and personalized guest services to make your stay effortless.

The home features private beach access just steps away via a sandy path, unobstructed Gulf views from every level, and accommodations for up to 15 guests in beds plus additional options for children. Enjoy a private heated pool, high-speed Starlink internet, and two golf carts (one 6-seater and one 4-seater) included with your stay. An airstrip membership is also available for guests arriving by private plane. A $120 damage protection insurance policy is required and covers up to $5,000 in accidental damages.

Ground Level – The private heated pool offers both sun and shaded lounge areas. The IPE wood decking includes chaise lounges, tables, and chairs. Outdoor entertainment includes custom corn hole boards and a giant Connect Four. Other outdoor amenities include an enclosed changing room, outdoor shower, propane Weber grill, beach chairs, and umbrella.

First Floor – Four bedrooms and a laundry room are located on this floor.
Master Suite One includes a king bed, 32” ROKU TV/DVD, full en-suite bath with shower, and a screened porch overlooking the Gulf.
Master Suite Two includes a king bed plus a twin armchair bed, a 32” ROKU TV, full en-suite bath with dual shower heads, and a screened porch overlooking the Gulf.
Bedroom Three includes two twin-over-twin bunk beds (sleeps four), one single twin bed, a kids table with chairs and books, and access to a shared full bath in the hallway with a tub/shower combo and dual sinks.
Bedroom Four includes two twin-over-twin bunk beds (sleeps four), one twin armchair bed, and indoor games like giant Connect Four and ring toss.

Second Floor – This level features the gourmet kitchen, dining area, great room, a screened porch, and a full bath.
The kitchen includes reverse osmosis filtration, stainless steel appliances, two French door refrigerators, a drip coffee maker, Keurig/Nespresso machine, blender, crockpot, electric griddle, and more.
The dining area includes a breakfast bar that seats six and a dining table that seats eight.
The great room features a large sectional sofa, an 85” UHD Smart TV, pool table, darts, and a bar cabinet with a nugget ice machine and full set of barware.
The screened porch includes a high-top dining table, bistro table, and rocking chairs.
The full bath includes a marble-tiled tub/shower with dual shower heads.

Third Floor – Bedroom Five includes a king bed, 40” ROKU TV, two private tiled porches (one sunrise-facing and one sunset-facing), and an expansive rooftop sun deck with Adirondack chairs and chaise lounges.

Awesome experience!

What a great place and great hosts! First time for our group on North Captiva and it did not disappoint. Tons of wildlife, beautiful property, great fishing and great people. Will be back again!

Great location, lots of rooms, love the pool

We booked this house in March and were not disappointed. The location is adjacent to the beach and the house had tons of room for our group of 9. An on sight pool was very nice since the Gulf of Mexico was still quite chilly. Shally's Seashells was very responsive to any request that we had. Would book again.

Enough room for our entire family of 8 plus significant others. Location is amazing right on the beach. Tiny pool - nice for cooling off. House was clean, basically brand new from recent renovation. Thanks! Would stay again.

The hype is real!

My whole family just got staying here for a week, 13 people ranging from ages 7 months to 64, and every single one of us loved it! The house was spacious, clean and had everything you needed. The views were beautiful from the porches. The pool was perfect for the kids when the beach got too hot! The hosts were reliable and quick to respond/help. We all give it 2 thumbs up and can’t recommend this home away from home enough!

Better than the photos!

Beautiful, well-maintained home with spectacular sunsets! Loved all the decks - top with lots of sun, middle with shade and beautiful view, sunny pool deck out of the wind. Walked the beach several times a day and saw dolphins and tortoises. Nice to have the Captiva Island Club bikes and kayaks and the state park to walk and bike in.

North Captiva Island Stay

We had a wonderful time. The views from the house are spectacular. We loved the screened in porches too. There are plenty of bathrooms to use. The pool was so nice to have when the ocean was a bit too cold. Having the washer/dryer was awesome. The kitchen island is huge! We loved all the nature walks available on the island. The seashells are unbelievable. We saw dolphins, tortoises, reptiles and many, many different kinds of birds. We enjoyed Mango’s food too. Make sure you order plenty of groceries but if you forget something it can be delivered! Lots and lots of friendly people on the island.

One of the best on North Captiva

Everything went as smooth as possible on our stay. Working with Tom was great, he was waiting at the dock for us when we arrived. Grocery process was no issue. Property was perfect location with perfect views. No issues or complaints here. Stayed with extended family of 11 and the rooms are divided up nicely and all clean! View from the main floors are perfect of the beach and water. Furniture was adequate and updated. Beach chairs could use some repair but hard to complain. Pool is perfect for younger kids and very clean.

A wonderful experience

We just finished a wonderful five nights at Captiva Beach Sunset. My family, a group of 11 in total, had an amazing time! The house was everything it was said to be and more- the location next to the beach was perfect and we enjoyed both the pool and Gulf often! Tom and Beulah were both so helpful prior to our trip- answering my many questions as we prepared for this big adventure. So thankful for both of them! Tom went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed - even going so far as to use his own tools and time to open up a coconut so our curious kids could see what was inside. Our family has made lifelong memories here and hope that others have the same great tropical adventures on North Captiva that we did!

Beautiful house with the best island location

We had a wonderful time at Captiva Beach Sunset over Thanksgiving. Our family group consisted of 8 adults and 4 children. It would be difficult to add anything to the many positive comments already posted in other reviews for this property. The children’s play area, the pool, the adjoining beach, the sunrise/sunset, and quietness were the highlights of our visit. Since the house is on an island with limited supplies, we were very impressed with how well the house was stocked with necessities. Having owned our own oceanfront, island property for 15 years, we appreciate the amount of work needed to maintain this house, its grounds, and outdoor features. We were not disappointed and were quite impressed. Without question, we would rent this property again when returning to North Captiva.

Location & Amenities!

Absolutely enjoyed the week at Captiva Beach Sunset. We enjoyed a fantastic stay at this beautiful beachside home, managed by a team we’ve trusted for years. The home was spotless upon arrival and stocked with thoughtful amenities that made our vacation completely stress-free. Any questions or concerns (very limited) were addressed quickly and resolved. The location is unbeatable — right across the street from the beach, making it easy to stroll down for morning shelling, surf fishing, or just lounging by the water. When we weren't at the beach, we loved relaxing by the private pool, which was a perfect for both the kids and adults. The views from the living area are fabulous and especially breathtaking from the top floor balcony. This property offered everything we hoped for and more.

Captiva Sunset Beach

The house is large with a nice layout and comfortably housed our family of 8 adults. It is ideally located directly on a wonderful beach. The owners are responsive, replacing a broken pool heater while we were there. The island has some scars from the recent hurricanes but is recovering well. This is a great spot for a private beachfront getaway.

Beautiful House

This is a beautiful house on a gorgeous beach. Accessing the island was a bit tricky, I don’t recommend you bring your own boat, it’s better to take the provided ferry. My stay was very nice.

A wonderful and relaxing vacation

This was my first time visiting the island and this house was perfect for our family. We felt at home with all of the amenities and the kids loved the private pool. I think the adults used it just as much as the kids did. The location was beyond perfect with the beach literally within seconds of walking. The sunsets were amazing from the top floor and the NCIC membership was a plus. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home on a gorgeous, remote beach

The house was everything we hoped it would be and more! The views of the beach were amazing from all the balconies and beach access was right across the walkway. The rooftop deck provided even more gorgeous views and the pool at the house was great for the kids during the day and adults at night :-) It was our first time on North Captiva and we would definitely go back!

Amazing vacation

The house was just as it was listed and accommodated our large group. The beach is so close to the house. It was nice to be able to get up in the morning and walk down to the beach to look for shells. Plenty of refrigerator space - we had a little bit of a hard time keeping up with ice in the freezer until we discovered an ice maker in the bottom level basement bathroom closet. They put in a new dishwasher while we were there. The view of the gulf is amazing! Sunset is the best! The hardest part of this vacation is planning for food and beverages. They will do grocery delivery while you are there so you don’t have to order everything before you go, but still need to plan ahead because it will take some time to get more delivered. If you end up buying any food/beverage on the island, it is much more expensive and there is not a big selection of items. When ordering groceries, if you are particular about brands, make sure to list a “backup” item so if the one you requested is out of stock you can get a replacement that works for you. Over all- an amazing vacation. Definitely a house we would stay in again. 😊

Fun at the beach

Wonderful house for a family vacation at the beach with gorgeous views, but privacy, only yards from beach with private pool, and easy access to large club pool, kayaks, and tennis. Absolutely the best sunsets!

Ally, Sean and the team at Shally’s were great, they were very responsive to anything that we needed. The house was awesome, in a great location, walkable to the island club and right across from beach access. Could not have asked for a better place to stay for our first time on the Island. Perfect Location

This house was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 7 little ones under the age of 5. The bedrooms and living area were spacious, and Ally provided the needed cribs and high chairs. The pool was a big hit with everyone and the beach was right across the “street”. The kitchen was well stocked with spices. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks!
