The rooms carpet needed cleaning but the bed was comfortable, the cookies they gave us were delicious the view was spectacular and the staff was very friendly even at the end of tourist season

Il Capri Hotel was an amazing place to stay during our trip to Capri. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Piazzetta area and is walking distance from all the shops, cafes, restaurants, bus stop and funicular. The pool area has a stellar view of the island and they even have a rooftop restaurant and bar called Deviant. Our hotel room was always kept clean and they gave us complimentary water and a pastry for my wife and I. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Wonderful Capri Hotel

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Il Capri Hotel. The staff was fabulous and we had a beautiful room with a balcony and incredible view. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and the bar. An added bonus was the high quality sheets and pillows!. Great location to shops and restaurants as well! We would definitely stay here again.

It took me ages to decide on which hotel to book. I made the right choice! It was easy enough to take the funicular and walk the distance to the hotel, if you want to save Euro 25 for a quick ride. Hotel has been renovated very tastefully. Breakfast was very good and the staff, especially Luca was just amazing. We loved it and if ever back in Capri I would not hesitate to stay in the same hotel again.

Wow! Gorgeous old style property in immaculate condition in the heart of Capri village overlooking the sea! Room was classicly decorated and very comfortable, facilities impeccable and the staff, particularly Frederica who was so patient with all of my requests, was absolutely top notch and warm. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely return again and again!

Great boutique hotel with a nice bar and great night club and great dj. I had a room with a view of the gulf and the the vesuvio. staff remembers immediately your name and room number! ignore the negative reviews. you have always consider its capri and rooms always small and not cheap!

Fantastic, gorgeous, pink!

Il Capri Hotel was fantastic. The style is amazing and we felt like we were staying in a Wes Anderson movie. Perfect location, great view (the pool!!!), nice staff. Only annoyance was that every surface and hook in the bedroom is covered in products for sale. They really push the hotel merch. Definitely recommend this place and wish we had more time there.

Could not have picked a better place to stay. The design and ambiance was exquisitely curated with a Wes Anderson aesthetic. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the view from our room was unbelievable and location was a 100/100 super close to the funicular and piazza which made it easy to walk everywhere and also near the taxi and bus station. Our stay was memorable, I wish I could have stayed longer. Whatever you see on instagram that Capri looks like, this hotel is the epitome of that much

The IL CAPRI Hotel is a gem on the island of Capri. Although not inexpensive, it is actually a value in comparison with many other hotels on the island. The property is an easy walk (even with luggage) from the cable car that brings you up from the port. The rooms have very nice views and comfortable beds. The bathrooms are large by European standards, The staff is the real gem. They are friendly, attentive and go beyond expectations (shout out to Michele). The included breakfasts were good and the service great. They had good suggestions for other restaurants for us and even looked them up on their own phones to give directions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and heartily recommend this hotel.

Great location, beautiful and clean

This hotel was great!! Amazing location in Capri and so clean. We loved it. It’s just recently renovated and is very beautiful. The only thing I would say is that the communal areas (restaurants, bars, lobby, pool) are a little disjointed. They are not all in the same place- for example for the pool you must go to the roof but then to get a drink you need to go down 2 flights of stairs and over a bridge. The lunch restaurant is an area across the street. Also- something to consider-we barely saw anyone else at the hotel the whole time we were there- so it didn’t feel like a place to gather with others like other hotels do. Some may even feel that this is a good thing! Considering the fact that it is new- this is an excellent hotel- just depends on what you are looking for. Bed was comfy, breakfast included, staff was amazing and so attentive, and we loved the location!!

We loved our stay at Il Capri! Not only was the hotel darling, but it was so conveniently located next to the funicular. Made it very easy coming from the ferry to get our bags up the hill and checked in. The staff were 5-stars, from check-in, to the bar to the porters. All went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. My notes on the property condition could partially be due to weather (some moisture in the room) and an old mattress. We had some drooping in the middle of ours that could be improved with a mattress topper or new bed. Other than that - I definitely recommend as a place to stay. We would return.

lovely stay! the hotel had everything we need and more. we stayed here for six nights and it was so beautiful, a bit pricey but that’s capri. the staff was so attentive. the hotel was very quiet and i can count the amount of times i saw other guests though. if you’re looking for crowds of people you won’t find it here. we enjoyed it as it was a relief to escape crazy capri a few minutes away. location is perfect, walking distance to capri but far enough for some quiet.
