Wonderful

I had another wonderful stay at the Basswood. The spacious suite is my home when I’m visiting my family in West Virginia. Comfy bed, lots of light, great bathroom, easy parking. And I saw the lunar eclipse! Plus, you can’t ask for a better host.

Nice overnight stay

Needed a place to stay prior to going kayaking on the South Branch of the Potomac. Grilled out steaks for dinner, microwaved breakfast, and was only 30 minutes from the river at Romney. Nice little town, but don’t expect too much. Most things close at 5p and are only open on select days. I would recommend doing your homework if that is what you are looking for.

Everything was great. The only reason not 5/5 stars was the fold out sofa bed was humped up in middle of the mattress. I flipped the mattress around and it didn't help. The heater is also not real streamlined. I had to contact host for instructions for how to use. Once I got the instructions it was very easy.
