"Spectacular panoramic view of the sea. Property is stunning and helps lend to the feeling of peaceful luxury. Plenty of outdoor seating and lounging areas. The house was very clean and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable. Francesca was extremely helpful and communicative. She assisted greatly by helping us secure transfer from the train and renting a car before we ever arrived. Once on property, she responded promptly to assist when needed. Easy check in and check out. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! Be sure to walk to the Bier Garten Capo Vaticano - food is fresh and delicious, views are stunning and the people that run the place made us feel like family or long lost friends. "

"Our family (7 people 3 rooms) had a great stay. The facility is very clean and up to date. The rooms are spacious with the air conditioning working wonderfully! The beach is as advertised, small, but a cove. Crystal clear water, and great sand lent for a wonderful beach stay, our first time in the region. Parking is tight, and the road to get there is “slightly” a one lane that supports 2 directional cars, all part of the adventure…. Go slow and remember you are in Italy! We had one snafu which was expensive. 2 of the 7 people met us at the hotel (different flight/car). I bought the family’s hotel rooms, Expedia only allowed me to book 5 people (and rooms). The 2 extra people (in the same rooms) cost us $1,000 for 3 nights! That seemed unfair to me."

"We stayed at La Taverna for 5 nights in late June. The room was clean, the area was quiet. The swimming pool was perfect, not crowded, and the beach was at a walkable distance. Appreciated the shop and local restaurants nearby. The staff was very helpful. There was a free shuttle to the train station (we visitedTropea). I can recommend La Taverna!"
