Fantastic New Years Getaway

We had the most amazing time at the Empress! The house has all the charm and more in person as it does in the photos. The character of the house and all the details added to the vibe of the trip and the space was perfect for four families of four. The location is incredible, right downtown with access to shops, restaurants and arcade! Huge thank you to Jason the host who was so easy to work with and very responsive!

Empressive!

The Empress was fabulous! Eight ladies (princesses all), eight lovely en suite bedrooms as promised. Plenty of room for gathering and the shortest of walks to both town and the beach. Empressive!

The Beautiful Empress

This beautiful Victorian home was perfect for the 30th anniversary of our friendship celebration. The home was immaculate and the location was within walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shopping. We particularly enjoyed our last evening together in the home theatre.

Something for everyone

This is an amazing vacation rental sure to please everyone. It is beautifully decorated while still being quite comfortable. The location couldn’t be more convenient, in the midst of shopping, dining, and a block to the ocean. The house is clean, the kitchen is well stocked, and we truly appreciated that linens were provided. After a full day at the beach, the kids enjoyed the theater while the adults relaxed on the lovely porch. We had a wonderful and memorable stay at The Empress and would not hesitate to return.

Christmas

This was a family get together to enjoy the beautiful town of Cape May during the holiday season. I saw the Empress while on a spring girls trip and took a picture of the sign to remember it. Best decision I made. This home is restored with nothing held back. Beyond beautiful. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

AMAZING

We actually used this as a wedding weekend venue. We got married in November this year and had all of our family and friends stay with us, since we had a micro wedding. Everyone had their own rooms and each room had its own bathroom, so it is the perfect set up for people who may not know each other. The men loved the movie theater and played all the big games of the weekend. Jason was super responsive and answered all my questions. The house is so unique that I know our guests were in awe and will talk about it for years to come.

Intriguing Unique Property

As pictured online .......one outstanding feature was the parking......we had 6 cars.......they all fit on the driveway....we loved the downstairs movie theatre........The house easily accommodated our whole family .... there were 12 of us.....we put together a 1500 piece jigsaw puzzle supplied in the house, We made breakfast and lunch each day and had one big dinner we cooked. The house is close to so many Cape May features including the beach......short and long walks available to experience for all age groups.

Amazing location within an easy walk from the downtown shopping and dining district, as well as from the beach. The house is beautifully furnished, comfortable and well supplied with everything you need for a large group get together. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were a few glitches when we first arrived, but the owner took care of them right away. Just be advised that it is not a property for disabled folks—lots of steps. Three floors plus a basement with a nice theater and seating area.

We had a fantastic week of family fun and togetherness at this amazing home, by far the nicest vacation rental home we have ever stayed in. The location was perfect — just a short 2 blocks from the beach and shops and restaurants right around the corner. This amazingly restored old and very large Victorian home was absolutely beautiful and super comfortable. The flowers, gardens, and landscaping around the exterior of the house and throughout the property created a wonderful setting to enjoy outdoors and on the porches . Private bathrooms in each of the very distinctive 8 bedrooms were wonderful for all of the family and friends we hosted. The home theater with high end projection and audio equipment was a hit at night with both adults and children and was very easy to use with a simple user friendly application on a tablet at the entrance to the room. The kitchen, large dining area, and living rooms on the first floor were ideal for hosting a large group. If you are looking for the perfect place to create a special and memorable experience for family and friends, this is it! Lastly, owner and host Jason was truly a pleasure to work with — super friendly, responsive, and attentive to our needs. Thank you Jason!!!
