"We had a truly unforgettable stay at Sandswept! From start to finish, our experience was fantastic, largely thanks to our wonderful host, Gayle. She was incredibly responsive both before and during our visit, always quick to answer questions and ensure everything was perfect.The house itself is one-of-a-kind filled with character and thoughtful design. With massive glass windows, unique architectural elements, and a stunning “pelican perch” room and deck, it reminded us of something Frank Lloyd Wright might have dreamed up. The views were breathtaking!Inside, the kitchen was extremely well-appointed. It had everything we needed was already there, making it easy to settle in and cook meals together. Each room was comfortable and well thought out: the beds were great, there was plenty of space to unpack, and we appreciated having different sleeping options for our family’s needs. My older parents loved the coolest (literally and figuratively!) room, and the kids were thrilled to have their own quieter spot downstairs.The location couldn’t have been better—nestled in a peaceful neighborhood with easy access to a quiet stretch of beach. We were lucky enough to spot 10–20 dolphins daily, swimming just 50 yards from shore. It felt magical.Another big plus: it’s very dog-friendly, which was a must for us.
