Relaxing vacation
We were looking for a house to lay low at for spring break and this met all our needs! The pool was perfect, house was very spacious, and it had many items that are often thrown away at the end of a stay (leftover coffee, flour, basic seasonings). We ventured to Sanibel Island for a day, went to a spring training baseball game, met some friends in Tampa, and enjoyed simple pool days at the house.

Fabulous Stay!
A beautiful property - we enjoyed our visit so much. There was nothing we needed and everything was in excellent and clean condition. We barely left the house as we enjoy our time on the lanai and in the pool so much, especially the beautiful canal view. Thank you for an excellent stay!

Great time
The property was clean and accurately shown in the listing. When we arrived late in the evening of our first day we quickly realized the ice maker/freezer was making a loud clicking noise and leaking water. The next morning when the property manager arrived, we pointed out the ice maker and she said she was aware of this issue and that was going to tell the Owner. She made no attempt to repair or replace during the duration of our stay so we dealt clicking ice maker and a reoccurring puddle on the kitchen floor all week. All-in-all we had a great week and would rent the property again.

This house has it all! Coolers, beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs! Very clean! Amazing house with a beautiful lanai! Property management is very quick to respond and handled everything in a timely fashion! Petra was incredibly kind and very informative about the area and answered all of our questions and was very helpful! If you want a clean, beautiful, stocked house…this is the one!!

This was our first visit to Cape Coral, and this property fit our needs perfectly! The home is large and included every amenity our family of 6 needed for a week stay. Entertainment, relaxation, setup for delicious meals, etc. The owners communicated very well and were very welcoming. No regrets.

Our Time at Villa Unica
We have called Villa Unica home for the past 7 weeks. My husband and I were pleased with the level of cleanliness, the well stocked kitchen and we absolutely LOVED the lanai. I don’t think we ate one meal indoors the entire time we were there! While there is really nothing within walking distance of the house, there was plenty to do within a 15-20 minute drive. Erik, the property manager, was a pleasure to deal with. He responded to questions quickly and accepted suggestions for improvement. When there was an issue early on with the cable TV, Erik did what was necessary and had all TV’s converted to Firesticks. While there are always suggestions to be had, we got our money’s worth and enjoyed our stay.

We had a very nice stay. Rental was soooo hot upon arrival air was set on 80 and couldn’t move it any lower than 74. Master room was so hot all the time we had to buy two fans of me for master and because one bedroom didn’t have a ceiling fan. Only other complaint was the floors. All of our feet were black until my husband got tired ofhearing me me complain and bought a mop. In all fairness the property manager did offer to send the cleaning crew out there but we just did it ourselves. All in all we had s nice stay and had good communication with Eric the property manager.

Great Getaway
The house was perfect for our group of 6. Our 17 year old daughter and 14 year old son each brought a friend for the week and things were set up perfectly to allow each of them to have separation when they wanted. The separate apartment was perfect for the boys that stayed up late playing video games with friends so the rest of us didn't need to hear them, but close enough that we never needed to worry about them. The location was close enough to nice beaches and shopping so we could take day trips for those that wanted to and leave others behind to happily enjoy the quiet around the pool. The owners were very gracious and helpful and even forewarned us of a potential problem in advance of our trip and offered us a full refund if we chose not to come. We obviously still went forward with the trip and had no issues at all. However, I greatly appreciated their openness and transparency from the owners to ensure we had a great trip. They did not have to offer us a full refund and I think that says a lot about their integrity...especially following a bad experience we had with another owner who would not give us any refund for a stay in March of 2020 when Covid shut down the town we were traveling to. The owners also reached out proactively to make sure everything was going well and provided local contact that was readily accessible and very responsive to any issues. We would certainly recommend both the house to anyone as well as the great owners to work with.

Perfect!
Our family stayed at the Villa Unica for a week. The place is amazing and well cared for. We spent a great deal of time on the lanai. The view of the canal is beautiful. The kids loved the heated pool. We wondered how the separate room would work with two of our kids sleeping there. It ended up being great as they loved the feeling of having their own space. The check-in and check-out process was seemless. Many great memories! We would highly recommend!!

The pictures of this home are beautiful, but it’s even more beautiful in person. Very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed to have an incredibly comfortable stay. The covered lanai and pool area is amazing and where we spent most of our time. We would absolutely recommend this home and would stay again.

Good Stay
Great home, very relaxed, has everything. We stayed 12 days and was given a $ 25 credit for electric which was not clear per signing contract, kept the pool at 77 and house at 74, out bill was $200, just be a where of you electric bill you are required to pay for the owners. The grills were Awesome, must clean them which we do at home, so use to that. Landscape was great. Had a few lights that were out, and ice maker was not shooting ice out, told property manager, he was awhare of this. Everything is 5 miles or less away that you would need. Weather great, laid out on front patio as the Lanai is a sun blocker, great for the hot summer days I'm sure. Would go back some time.

Beautiful home and location - Highly recommended
The house was spacious and very well decorated. The pool in the back was a huge hit with my family. I could barely get my 8 year old out of it the entire week! I loved the large covered patio that over looked the bay (feet from the house and pool). The views were breathtaking! We even saw an otter and many other animals in and around the water. My teenager loved the ping pong table and especially the mother-in-law separate suite for the privacy and space. Trust me, my wife and I didn't mind that one bit either! My wife loved the courtyard and was able to get some amazing pictures there! My favorite was the large brick outdoor grill and the fact that I could fish practically from the back door and still keep an eye on the family in the pool. The house was full of amenities such as fire pit, Nintendo Wii, XBox360, extra gas grill, bar area and everything mentioned above. The owners Mirco and Katja are fantastic to work with and easy to get in touch with. I would happily come back and re-visit this lovely home again.

We stayed in Villa Unica in March of 2020. The house was exactly as advertised! It was very clean upon on arrival and the owners had provided a very nice welcoming package of beverages to enjoy as we got unpacked and settled in. We have stayed at many vrbo rental around the country and found this house to be very well stocked with basic necessities such as toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, hand soap, etc. The kitchen had every appliance, dish, glass, utensil that you need to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Due to the unusually warm and dry weather in Cape Coral so far this year the water level in the pool was low and the pump had lost its prime but the property manager immediately arranged for the pool company to fix the problem and there were no further problems of any kind with the property. The property is very well cared for and the location was very convenient. Perhaps what impressed us most about the property, however, was the attention, care and compassion that was shown to us by the owners. As everyone is aware, March of 2020 is when the COVID-19 pandemic arrived in the U.S. As a result, we concluded that, for us, it was best to leave early and return to our home state before the scheduled end of our rental. Although the owners were under no obligation to do so, they offered us a very fair and generous accommodation for the unused portion of rental. We very much appreciated the kindness and compassion of owners Katja and Micro in these challenging times and we wish them all the best going forward. We wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional rental property to anyone planning a trip to the Cape Coral area.

Everything from pre check in communication to leaving the house was great! Couple of things to note, the 3rd bedroom is not part of the main house, has its own entrance and double beds (for those with kids) The pool was great but the cover is very heavy, would be nice to have a “pool wheel” to roll it up on. Definitely would stay again!

Overall the property was great. The home was beautiful and very clean
My family and I had a great vacation in Cape Coral. The house was very nice. We did encounter a few issues that I have not had at any other home rentals throughout the US and Canada. I have never been told that the BBQ has to be spotless. Here if they deemed the BBQ was not clean enough there was an extra cleaning charge. The add on HomeAway stated they had a heated pool. There is a pool heater, however, there is no pool cover. So the pool never got above 70deg. In my opinion, if the nights get below 60deg and you are advertising heated pool, you should have a pool cover to keep the heat in the pool overnight. You should also run the heater and pump at night so you are pushing warm water into the pool when the air temp is the coldest. The last issue that I have never encounter before was that the house did not supply enough essentials for the week stay. There was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. There was no laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and there were 3 pods for the dish washer. At every other home we have rented all of those essential items were provided for our stay. Here, I was told we had to purchase our own. So I purchased the smallest containers that I could for laundry detergent, dryer sheets, toilet paper, dish washer pods and left what we didn’t use for future guests. That was a first. There were also no extra garbage bags for the garbages in the kitchen. We did have an amazing vacation. The home was in a great location. Grocery stores less than 10min away. And almost everything we did in Fort Myers was a 30min drive. I just listed the issues above to help other travelers be aware so they are not surprised like we were when we had to purchase extra home essentials.

Dear Anonym, thanks for your feedback. This is always a chance for us to get better, so we already discussed it in our family. 1. The pool-blanket Good advice. We bought it right away so the actual and future guests can benefit from it. 2. The sanitary package We heared that from two former guests as well and decided already to provide a bigger package for the future. But this is still an interesting point for us, because neither we had anything of that, when we rented a house in the past nor any of the other houses our property manager takes care of do it. So we just wonder where that new demand comes from right now. Anyway we provide it and done. For us it will be interesting to see where this trend leads to. Today it is soap, paper towels, toilet paper, detergent and dishwashing detergent. But where will it end? What about shower gel and sunscreen? Or coffee filter and coffee? Water and beer? Greeted with dirty towels left in bathroom, cockroaches on the floor and crumbs on the counter.
Our family arrived at Villa Unica ready for a 12 day relaxing stay. The house is situated in a residential area that is close to many beaches and attractions. We were greeted with dirty towels in the master bathroom, cockroaches on the floor, crumbs on the kitchen counter and lots of dust on the shelves. So much dust, that we did not use the closet space or wardrobe space. All the electronics and appliances could also use a good dusting or cleaning. Also, An infestation of ants surrounded the pool. They were biting ants, so no sitting with your feet in the frigid pool. The property manager, Erik, came out on the second day of our stay. We informed him of the things mentioned above. He apologized and took the cable box from the guest room with him, after we informed him that it wasn’t working. In addition to things not working were the fan and light in the living room, lights in the pool area and the water pressure and hot water temperature in master bath shower. After being in the house for an hour, we had to make a run right away to Target, as basic necessities are not included in the stay. Basic... toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, garbage bags, etc... We would like to have known this before booking our stay. After our first night trying to sleep, we headed bAck to Target to by pillows, because the ones provided were paper thin and smelly. We washed the pillow cases only to find heavily stained pillows that were downright gross. The towels provided were musty smelling and very thin, so we bought our own. Lastly, when you are on vacation, you want to sleep! The two main king beds were very hard and the master bed felt uneven. My guess is that both beds are as worn out as those pillows. The one thing we did like was the ping pong table. With some TLC, Villa Unica would be a much better place.

Dear Donna, we respect your feedback and discussed it with our local representative Erik. He told us a complete different story. So we were not sure, if we want to respond to it at all. But we feel that it might be helpful for future guests to complete the picture. 1. We do provide a starter set of toilet tissue (2 per bath), garbage bags (3), hand soap, dish washing tabs (3), dish washing soap and, a roll of paper towel for each arriving guests. This is a starter set for 2-3 days and not intended to last the complete vacation. We will doublecheck with Erik to make sure it is really placed in the house at all times. Also we decided to enhance the package. In addition Erik always places some welcome water and beer in the fridge and in your case a little xmas present, which we think was quite nice. 2. Regarding the insects. This can of course happen in tropical areas, especially when food is left outside for too long. As far as we were informed the pest control was notified immediately, came and resolve the issue within 24 hours for you. 3. The cable box was exchanged and installed within 24 hours, as well. With three more televisions in the house, we would not expect this to be a big issue. 4. We have been to the house 20 days prior to your arrival and all closets were clean, pillows did not smell and matresses were not worn out. Also water pressure and temperature in the master bath was fine. The guests right before you also did not mention anything of it and gave us a five star rating. So this point we can´t retrace at all. 5. We provide multiple sets of bathroom towels, beach towels and towels for the deck chairs. All of them are washed before new guests arrive. In general it would have been helpful to get your criticism right at the beginning, latest at the check-in, to have the chance to maybe correct things, if possible. But anyway. We are sorry, that you did not enjoy your stay as all our former guests and hope you find another house for your next vacation that suits you better. Regards Mirco and Katja

Eines der schönsten Häuser, das wir je hatten!
Das Haus war toll! Wir waren nur zu zweit und hatten deshalb massig Platz, aber das Haus kann sehr gut 6 Personen beherbergen. Außerhalb des Haupthauses gibt es ein Schlafzimmer mit Bad in einem separaten "Häuschen", drinnen zwei große Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad. Die Ausstattung ist klasse, auf höchstem Niveau. Andere Häuser sind ja gerne mal mit ausrangierten Möbeln, Hausrat etc. versehen. Nicht hier. Die Sofas - ein Traum. Am besten hat uns aber die Terrasse gefallen - diese ist riesig und hat ebenfalls die beste Ausstattung und eine tolle Sicht auf das Wasser: bequeme Liegen (4), einen super Gasgrill, einen gemauerten Holzkohlegrill, ein großer Esstisch mit 6 Stühlen. Der Swimmingpoo ist groß genug, dass man auch ein paar Züge schwimmen kann. Das Wetter war leider nicht so gut wie gehofft, also müssen wir noch einmal wieder kommen :)

A golden Gulf Coast vacation!
This was our first vacation on Florida's west coast (usually we're on the east coast)...the area of Cape Coral and the nearby beaches are truly beautiful. Villa Unica is a fantastic house that met all of our vacation needs. The house is super clean and has a spectacular layout. The extra 'guest' room/house is the perfect teenager hideaway. Everything from the pool service to the check-in and out process are simple and easy to follow. The information folders located in the living room offer so much info and suggestions of wonderful places to visit. (If you are in Tampa - be sure to visit the Dali Museum and in Sarasota, the Mote Marine Institute and Aquarium!) When we book another west coast trip - we will certainly return to the Villa Unica!

Beautiful unique home
Great quiet location and beautiful home. The owners have gone out of their way to supply pool toys, lounges, games etc to add to your stay. Every rental is set up differently so make sure you include toilet paper, paper towel, soap for the bathrooms as well as the dishwasher on your shopping list or you will be going out to shop again. The unique layout of this home would be fabulous for 3 couples looking for a getaway

The best rental home ever
We were taken aback by the space and quality of our Cape Coral home, although the pictures looked good it is rare that a property is better in the flesh as is the case for Casa Unica. The location was great in a good neighbourhood and sitting out by the pool overlooking the canal was a real pleasure. The property managers were very helpful and responded quickly to all requests when were were in the property. We do not often recommend properties as we have very high standards , but will make an exception with this one.

Spacious, clean and comfotable
My husband and I had a great holiday in the villa which had been cleaned to a high standard with everything you might need to make the stay comfortable. The view from the pool was lovely and it was relaxing watching the wild life and we loved warching the amazing thunder storms. The pool was great as you could sit on the steps sipping something nice and cool or float on the airbeds provided relaxing in the sunshine. Bliss !!!! The owners and management team ensured that the experience from the time of booking and checking out was hassle free and even had cold water and beer on arrival which was much appreciated. We would definitely recommend the villa. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

BEAUTIFUL!!
The Villa was even more beautiful in person than pictures!! The house was immaculate and had all the amenities that you could ever need! The property managers arrived right on schedule upon check in and check out and Marissa gave us some great tips on local restaurants, etc. The private pool was so lovely and that is where we spent most of our free time!! The only suggestion that I would have would be the option to pay a little more up front and have the pool heated to a comfortable level upon arrival. We are guessing the prior guests didn't use it so it was pretty chilly but the manager showed us how to turn it up. The neighborhood seemed very safe and quiet. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would recommend this place to everyone!!

Entspannter Familienurlaub in der Villa Unica
Wir hatten unseren Aufenthalt im April für 8 Tage gebucht. Der Check-in mit einer deutschsprachigen Ansprechpartnerin war trotz Ostersonntag möglich und verlief super easy. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Küche hat alles was man zum Kochen braucht. Die Bialetti hatte meinen Tag gerettet :) Die Kids haben den beheizten Pool geliebt. Es sind selbst deutsche Lektüre und Spiele (Brettspiele etc.) für Kids vorhanden. Der Check out verlief auch schnell und problemlos. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner und erholsamer Urlaub in der Villa Unica.

1A Unterkunft für einen traumhaften Urlaub
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dieser grossen, schönen und sehr gut eingerichteten Villa. Der beheizte Pool hat uns sehr gefallen und lädt auch über Weihnachten zum Sprung ist Wasser ein. Auch stimmt die Beschreibung vom Vermieter zu 100%. Die Kommunikation war sehr angenehm und wir können diese Villa jedem uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-)

Toller Urlaub in toller Villa!
Die Villa Unica ist eine geschmackvoll eingerichtete, moderne Villa mit allem,was man im Urlaub benötigt.Es hat uns absolut nichts gefehlt und wir würden uns sehr freuen, in diesem tollen Haus mal wieder unseren Urlaub zu verbringen.Alles war hervorragend vorbereitet und die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern perfekt.

Super Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen
Wir hatten mit unseren Kindern einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus. Die Ausstattung ist tiptop, die Vermieter sehr angenehm, absolut zu empfehlen! Cape Coral selber hat nicht sooo viel zu bieten, liegt aber strategisch günstig für Ausflüge in die Region.

Sauber, gepflegt mit schöner Einrichtung in ruhiger und dennoch zentraler Lage.
Wir waren mit 6 Personen 1 Wo. hier und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Einrichtung sowie Ausstattung lassen keine Wünsche offen. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber und liegt zudem in ruhiger Lage zentral zum nächsten Supermarkt. Wir kommen wieder - das steht fest :-)

Traumhafte Villa !!
Großes Lob an Fam. Kappe und den Verwalter Erik .... es fehlt hier wirklich nichts, organisiert bis in das kleinste Detail, alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit .... superschöne Lage am breiten Kanal, gute Ausgangslage für alle möglichen Einkäufe und Ausflüge, sehr empfehlenswert ..... Traumurlaub!
Wir, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Jugendliche haben einen Traumurlaub in der wunderschönen Villa Unica verbringen dürfen. Die Villa besticht durch ihre Größe, ihre komfortable Einrichtung und Ausstattung, umfangreiches Entertainment-Angebot und wird durch das atmosphärische Patio abgerundet. Der beheizte Pool lädt immer zu einem Sprung ein, der Weber-Grill zu einem dicken Steak, die Schlafsäle zu angenehmer Nachtruhe. Kurz: das schönste Haus in der näheren Umgebung. Supertolles Haus
Alle vorherigen Rezessionen können wir voll und ganz bestätigen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und großzügig eingerichtet und lässt an Ausstattung nichts vermissen. Und richtig gute Betten sind selten in Ferienhäusern zu finden, hier natürlich vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Villa gerne weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank an Familie Kappe!
