This pet-friendly property was a great place to stay. The house is beautiful, and the pool and hot tub were wonderful.

Great place!
Our family of 8 enjoyed our time at Villa Aleena. It was our second time staying here and I'm sure we would stay again. The pool and hot tub were great and we loved fishing off the dock. Our grandkids caught many fish, which makes it so much fun. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of dishes and pots and pans. We also used the new grill a few times. I highly recommend Villa Aleena.
The house was large and laid out well for togetherness and privacy. Easy check in and out, easy to find, and located on the canal for fishing and kayak fun. The ducks, iguanas, and sting rays at the dock was great!! Area was relatively quiet and the house and outdoor spaces were clean and perfect for grilling, swimming, eating and just enjoying morning coffee for sunrises. Very happy with the house, well appointed, and lots to do right there at home. Management was great and very responsive. We played pool, swam, and fished daily. Great for families, couples, and everyone in between. Restaurants and shopping very conveniently located within minutes. We even spent a day thrifting and had a blast. Very friendly locals and Perkins pies on the corner was a nice surprise!! Recommend for a family-friendly stay. Beaches less than an hour drive for awesome shelling.

Perfect home
This home exceeded our expectations! Plenty of space and enough to do even if the weather isn't working to your favor. The master bed was extremely comfortable and loved the added comfort of it being an adjustable bed! The king bed in the bedroom directly off the lanai also, is an adjustable bed! We did have an issue with the jacuzzi bath in the master suite. It lacked water pressure. It took about 2 days to get that fixed, however the maintenance gentleman was wonderful and extremely helpful! So, no complaints there! The hot tub was just replaced when we got there and that was a GREAT addition to our trip! The location of the home is close to stores, gas stations and restaurants! The last awesome touch was that we were lucky enough to have the sweetest Burrowing Owl visit us daily on the fans of the front porch! I seriously love Cape Coral!
The property itself was fantastic! We stepped inside the property and there was a musty smell that dissipated throught our 10 day stay. We ordered Pizza the first night and found that we had ants, but didnt have any paper products....no napkins, paper towels and two rolls of toilet paper. The next morning while some of us went shopping for these necessities, the property manager came by. Apparently, the pre check hadnt been completed prior to our stay, which is why we didnt have supplies we needed. We had some minor issues with the house itself as the air conditioner stopped working, but it was repaired within 8 hrs or so. The garage door didnt work so we had to load everything through the front door. To use the kayaks you had to take them through the house instead of around back. The master bedroom is gorgeous, but the mattress is the absolute worse! The pilllows were so bad that we went and bought some to use during our stay. The pool and new hot tub were FANTASTIC, and we also enjoyed the pools table. If you are a group that enjoys TV, there are TV's everywhere. Check out was smooth, the didnt require a huge amount to be done prior to leaving. After the trip we were charge for electricity usage which we assumed we would have. But we were charged for the loss and programming of the garage remote....the one for the garage that wouldnt even open. When we realized it didnt work we put it in a drawer and didnt touch it again. But were charged $70. Dissapointing!
Absolutely amazing! Unfortunately for us this turned into more of a work trip. We can’t wait to come back as soon as possible! The house was beautiful and clean. We spent every sunset on the dock. Thank you for a great stay!
It was an excellent place for our family staycation! We totally loved it!!! Our only two suggestions are:
1. more life jackets for the kayaks.
2. let guests know the pool/maintenance schedule (when he arrived, we were startled and we were forced to stop our pool fun for an hour, would have been nice to plan around it).
This was a great place to stay. We did have some issues with internet upon check in but maintenance came almost immediately and quickly resolved the issue. Hot tub wasn't working at the time of our stay but it really didn't matter to us. Beds were all very comfy and everything else about the house was wonderful! Would definitely stay again. Please note: the switch to the garbage disposal is behind the coffee pot! Took me all week to find it lol!
Have rented over two dozen vacation homes in the past. This home rates in the top five. Great outside pool area overall layout great. Having coffee out by the pool in the morning was wonderful. Would suggest attention to the solor cover used once and it left dozens of little plastic chips in the pool. Pool guy suggested we should not use and said he recommended to owner a replacement was needed. This likely cost us extra for heating the pool. Jetted tub did not work properly, however maintenance man showed us the reset location behind a panel in the laundry room. Ice maker is tricky but will work. While the pool cover was a concern overall we really really liked this place. Would reccomend to others.

Beautiful House- Poorly Maintained
All month we planned for this escape to the West Coast....after a 3-hour drive on Friday afternoon we were greeted with a Green Pool- green like grass. The pool was off and not running. We immediately called the office and they expressed they would contact the pool guy right away. After calling twice to check on status of his arrival - he finally showed up. His attitude was very "unbothered" and sarcastic. We watched as he scraped the nasty algae out of the bottom of the pool, and clean the filter (even though he claimed his wife came earlier in the day to clean the filter.) He told us due to the large amount of chemical he put in the pool, we could not go in for the evening....My kids were devastated! I hyped them up about this little oasis only to arrive and not be able to utilize the main feature in the house. This is very frustrating and upsetting.
That same night we attempted to sit outside and just watch TV- and the TV did not work. It would come on, but it had a bunch of black and white lines down the screen. - So not only we couldn't use the pool- no outdoor tv either.
I walked into the third Guest Room only to be greeted by a FULL-SIZE BED. Although its advertised as a queen bed. Can you imagine I pay for a vacation stay where both my husband and I are two grown adults and we had to fit onto a Full-Size Bed? This was unacceptable.
Friday-When I laid on the pillow of the bed- it wrecked of cheap woman perfume- I had to remove all sheets from my tiny bed and wash them - prior to sleeping on the bed.
On Saturday - the Spa tub was not hot. It was showing a temperature of 89 degrees. After calling the property manager - he was very helpful and gave us directions over the phone to reset the tub. This heating process would take hours. We could not use the tub until Sunday. The tub had to run all night - I am sure this will contribute to my electric bill.
To be honest- this home was beautiful - but the staff they have maintaining the place is doing a very poor job. Had these things been taken care of prior to my arrival - it would have been an amazing vacation.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cape Coral! Our family especially loved the private pool and hot tub, as well as the pool table and dock with tiki hut.
We stayed for a week, pool was great, fresh water river to mouth of ocean nice, my kids loved kayaking and the pool, the pool table was a Huge hit as well
This was our first Cape Coral trip and it definitely won’t be our last! The house was absolutely AMAZING!!! We’ve never stayed in a place where you feel like you are at home, until we stayed here! We will for sure be back!
We enjoyed our stay, the house was nice, my daughters enjoyed the pool while my son enjoyed fishing from the dock and using the kayaks. Very relaxing and quiet neighborhood, close to stores if needed.
We had a great time at Villa Aleena! It was well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels etc. We also like the location. The Dock with tiki bar was great, we fished daily and caught many fish. Our 8 yo grandson had a ball! The service manager, Dwayne, immediately fixed the few minor things we asked to have him look at. Thanks for a great time!!
The queen bed in the guest suite needs replaced. It was extremely uncomfortable. Seems to be old or did not hold up well.
My brother had to fix several items, toilet paper holder, towel rack.
The spa and pool would not heat up. We called and they came that day. The filter was completely clogged. After this, the pool and spa heated nicely.
The door handle on the outside of the patio doors came off. It could not be fixed at the time so hopefully it is fixed now.
The home itself was lovely. Plenty of room for all of us. The pool table provided endless entertainment for everyone. The spa was wonderful to relax in. The pool area was large and the kids loved it! The outdoor dining was a plus, we ate there for all of our meals. We liked that the area was quiet and peaceful.
All in all would highly recommend this villa.
It was nice sitting on the dock drinking morning coffee. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub and pool table. The only downside was for our big group, could of had a few more big pans for cooking.
