Nicely furnished studio apartment above our quiet marina office overlooking the western view of Cape Charles. Ideal for sharing beautiful sunset moments every day. Enjoy downtown Cape Charles less than a mile away.
Spacious, beachy furnishings include a king bed, dresser, sofa, coffee table, new Smart TV, basic kitchen equipment, microwave, small refrigerator, ice maker, hot plate, coffee maker, and toaster oven. The large deck has outdoor seating for four. Spacious bathroom. Towels and bed linens are provided. For passing the time, watch our amazing marina team haul and launch some of the largest vessels on the East Coast.
On the west end of the pier, enjoy a private patio that overlooks the Cape Charles town harbor and the Chesapeake Bay. Laundry facilities are on-site and available to our guests. Bring your boat, we have boat trailer storage onsite for an additional fee.

Lovely town on Chesapeake Bay

Nice apartment overlooking a yacht marina and Coast Guard station. Very scenic and charming. An easy walk to restaurants and coffee shops in town, and a long sandy beach.

Great location right in the marina. Quiet time of year for our visit. Not many boats in the water. Did enjoy the most incredible sunsets from the deck.

Fantastic!!

The space was well maintained and so close to everything without being right in the middle of it! Unfortunately the clouds kept us from a beautiful sunset but was perfect regardless!!

We really enjoyed this stay. The room is bigger than you can tell from the pictures. The balcony was used a ton! Our host was extremely helpful and made our stay very nice.

Convenient location for boatyard and marina

Clean, spacious studio with kitchenette and shower room. Coffee machine on big desk, comfortable bed and couch. Lovely views of the marina from the French doors which open onto a private balcony.

Fun location - fully working marian lots to watch from the expansive deck - super cool for a couple small kitchen and deck made it fun just to hang out in room - spent a weekend there and everything was within a close walk/cart ride - Smitty was more that accommodating and very responsive

Adult Weekend Away

A group of us were taking a long adult weekend away. This listing was PERFECT. It had everything we needed and was in a great location. We came by boat, rented a golf cart, and it was amazing. The pictures don’t do this place justice.

Beautiful view, nice little getaway

The deck view is perfect to sit and relax. It's an active marina with coast guard next door so not a secluded location, but I like watching the activity. My husband and I never had to get in the car the whole weekend. We were able to ride our bikes to lunch, dinner, shops, and the beach!

Great Location and Convenience

Located on the second floor of the Dock Manager's office at the local marina, the view is the greatest, looking over the boats out into the Chesapeake Bay. And better yet, it is a short walk aways for Cape Charles' main street. All good.

Relaxing!

Great weekend getaway! Easy to rent a golf cart from CC Ryders (they will deliver and pick up) and close to everything, yet still quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and inviting. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette was perfect and came with a mini ice maker. The view of the marina from the balcony is picturesque.We would highly recommend to couples who want to the option to relax or be on the town - this place offers both.

Nice quiet Apt on Marina. Had beautiful sunsets ,and places were easy to walk to. Arrived at 3:15 with passcode but the room was not ready. I called management company and Smitty was on top of it went out had a bite to eat came back, and the apartment was clean. I would recommend anyone discovering or researching Cape Charles to stay here

Perfect Getaway

My wife and I decided to explore somewhere we have never been, Cape Charles it was! I found this place and decided that it looked perfect for what we needed. After arriving we were blown away by the place. The large deck overlooking the water was just wonderful. We got to watch boats come in and out, the Coast Guard is right next door so even got to watch them do their morning routines and escort/board a vessel coming in. The location could not be beat! We took our bikes and was able to ride everywhere you would want to go. The marina office does let you check their golf cart out in two hour increments if you didn’t bring bikes or want to walk anywhere. The employees at the marina office were all super polite and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Great location

The location of the VRBO was perfect. Very close to town and the beach. We loved being on the marina and watching the boats come and go. The balcony is definitely the best part of the rental. We were a little disappointed when we checked in and saw large stains all over the carpet and couch though. It made us feel uncomfortable about the cleanliness of the place and definitely isn't seen in the pictures. Bed was okay though and bathroom was clean. Also just to note the only mirror is a small one over the bathroom sink (no full length) which made getting dressed for a wedding a little difficult. Easy check-in process and very friendly people. Can't beat the view!

Perfect Short Stay in CC!

The Captain's Quarters is perfect for a short stay in Cape Charles! It's just a 2 or 3 minute drive or golf cart ride (or a 5 minute walk) from Mason Avenue and the beach, with a beautiful balcony view of the harbor, and all the fascinating activity that goes on there, including the neighboring Coast Guard station. The studio apartment was clean, quiet, and spacious, with all the basics in the kitchenette - including coffee pods and condiments for the Keurig! The countertop ice maker is really convenient - a perfect complement to the mini fridge. There are so many great restaurants in Cape Charles that you don't need a full kitchen for just a few days. Smitty is the perfect host, even though he runs a busy marina. He's always friendly and ready to chat about Cape Charles, the marina, or the history of the area. Renee is super helpful at the marina office, always ready to answer questions. We highly recommend The Captain's Quarters if you're looking for a quick getaway to beautiful Cape Charles!
