"This place is a bit further out from Pisa, but we still had a really nice stay and made the most of it. It’s great value for money, which was a big plus. The hotel itself is a little old-fashioned, but honestly, the staff more than made up for it—they were super friendly and welcoming the whole time. The restaurant was also a highlight, with really tasty food that we enjoyed a lot. It’s a good spot if you’ve got a car and want to explore the nearby villages and surrounding area."

"Die Location war perfekt. Der Pool und die Aussicht grandios. Um zu der Location zu kommen sollte man kein ängstlicher Fahrer sein. Es geht über eine sehr kleine Straße zur Einfahrt zum Haus. Die letzten ca. 200 m zum Haus sind grenzwertig....mit unserem A6 sind wir gerade noch so durchgekommen. Man sollte unbedingt beim Nachbar Giacomo vorbeischauen, dort kann man sehr günstig guten Wein und gutes Olivenöl kaufen. Ein super freundlicher Mann der im hohen Alter noch total fit ist und Deutsch und Englisch spricht. Wir waren zu einer kleinen Weinprobe bei ihm....genial. Alles in allem hatten wir eine tolle Zeit dort und werden wahrscheinlich wiederkommen."

"Die Kommunikation mit unserer Vermieterin Isabella war schon im Vorwege sehr gut. Am Anreisetag haben wir über WhatsApp direkt unser Einchecken abgesprochen. Isabella hat uns persönlich empfangen, uns die Wohnung und das Grundstück gezeigt und sogar in die Geschichte des Hauses eingeführt. Uns wurden auch Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe gegeben. Kurz, wir fühlten uns sehr gut betreut und in guten Händen. Das Grundstück hat eine traumhafte Lage. Der Ausblick ins Tal ist schon beeindruckend, aber der Blick hoch in die bewaldeten Berge ist Atem berauben. Morgens und abends lauschten wir bei Frühstück bzw entspannten Ausklang dem Gesang der Vögel und im Dunkeln schwirrten zig Glühwürmchen um uns herum. Im Inneren ist das Haus sehr gut ausgestattet. Uns hat nichts gefehlt, um uns wohl zu fühlen. Wir sind mit unseren beiden Hündinnen angereist, die sich auch sehr gerne im komplett eingezäunten Grundstück aufgehalten haben. Unsere Hündinnen wurden auch sehr zugewandt von Isabella begrüßt. Beim Auschecken freuten sich die beiden auch wieder Isabella zu sehen. Der Vorgang war am Vorabend unserer Abreise ebenfalls sehr unkompliziert und herzlich. Da wir früh am Morgen abgereist sind, haben wir das Haus abgeschlossen und den Schlüssel ca 75 Meter weiter bei Isabella, die unsere nächste Nachberin war, in den Briefkasten gelegt. Danke, dass wir in diesem tollen Haus mit dem fantastischen Grundstück zu Gast sein durften. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"This accommodation is absolutely wonderful. Everything you need is provided, and it is truly a place to relax and feel at home.The garden features a beautiful pool and a small lawn area with the perfect view over Lucca. The house is very well equipped with air conditioning, a dishwasher, washing machine, two bathrooms, and three bedrooms (two with double beds and one with a single bed).There is also a large living area with a kitchen, fireplace, and a cozy dining space. In good weather, you can enjoy meals on the terrace on the other side of the house while admiring the mountain view.The hostess was extremely friendly and took plenty of time to explain and show us everything. The location is also ideal — only about 15–20 minutes to the center of Lucca and around 8 minutes to the nearest supermarket.We were absolutely delighted with our stay, and it was also very comfortable and enjoyable with our dog. We would definitely recommend this place!"

"Just Wow! This house was more than we could have hoped for and more. We were first time travelers to Italy, a family of 6 with kids that ranged from 5 years to 13. It was the perfect set-up for our family. Monica and Dario were amazing and answered any and all questions we had. They also helped organize someone to come into the home to cook us dinner. Isa was amazing and it was a highlight of our entire trip! We still have dreams of the view and sitting outside eating dinner every night. The location was perfect, up far enough to have the view, but not too far that the drive was challenging. It was the perfect home base for us. We did rent a car, which I am glad we did because we had the flexibility to explore the area. This house and the stay there will always have a special place in our hearts and hope to be back soon!"

"This was a beautiful and peaceful 6 night respite in the middle of our 18 day trip to Italy. An old world feel with plenty of room for the 6 of us to spread out. The location provided easy access for day trips to Cinque Terre and Pisa and, of course, beautiful Lucca. We thoroughly enjoyed our mountain village tour with Giovanni. Monica's meals were some of the very best food that we had on our trip. So happy with our stay. (bring euros to pay for extras - meals/Giovanni tour. Also bring bath products and ground coffee. Internet is weak, they were attempting to fix it while we were there)"
