"Just returned from our trip to the PNW. This hotel was super cute and clean. It over looks the river and the outdoors was so comfy and pretty we decided to go pick up dinner and bring it back to the hotel and eat on the patio. Everyone else had the same idea. Lots of families sitting outside and enjoying the peaceful setting. Our room also had a cute private balcony. Wish we had more than one night to enjoy this great hotel."
"Great, clean and spacious room. We stayed 3 nights, had a balcony and slept so good with the thick walls. Never even heard a neighbor . The outside ground are complimented by the Umpqua River and have a garden where doggos are welcome."
"This is an amazing historical, rumored to be haunted hotel that has beautifully appointed rooms with insuite bathrooms. They have kept two of the original bedrooms in the original part of the hotel as they were over 100 yrs ago like a "museum" with information about the hotel, famous guests that have stayed there and a view into its early days. The chef and staff are all helpful and love what they do. The food is amazing and everything on the menu is great thanks to their chef."
"We arrived around 9:30 pm, so kinda late. We were looking forward to using the hot tub, but it closed at 10, so we weren’t able to. Nobody’s fault, we just arrived too late.
The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Check in only took about 5 minutes. The room was clean when we arrived.
There were only very minor negatives, in my opinion. The bathroom setup is a little odd. The shower and toilet are in a small room while the vanity is in the main hotel room. The door to the bathroom barely clears the toilet, so getting in and closing the door is weird. The conditioner dispenser in the shower was empty.
In the morning, breakfast is advertised from 6:30-9. I went down just after 6 and found it was up and running. There were two waffle makers, scrambled eggs, sausage, bread, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, and cereal. A nice selection for everyone. There were also coffee and three kinds of juice.
Parking is a little tight. The spaces aren’t that wide and the hotel was booked full.
I would certainly stay here again."
"Es un lugar muy tranquilo cero ruido aparte de eso el pueblo es muy pequeño y tranquilo la gente muy amable solo hay dos restaurantes hay dos tiendas muy cerca así que par mi que solo quería una noche tranquila y poder descansar bien eso fue excelente me encantó."
"An ideal B&B.There was value for money spent. Don't see that often. The breakfast presentation was great. The rooms were great. The view was beyond great."
Large 7 bd 5 bath house. A few miles from wildlife safari. Gourmet kitchen
10/10 Excellent
"The house was lovely and spacious, making it perfect for our visit to Winston for a wedding. It comfortably accommodated two families. The kitchen was not only spacious but also beautifully designed. We found the beds to be comfortable, and the living room furniture was equally inviting. We appreciated having access to the washer and dryer, along with the laundry soap that was provided. The little extras, like coffee supplies and shampoo, were also greatly appreciated. The property is very well-maintained, although we noticed some cobwebs and tiny spiders in several rooms, which we understand is normal for this time of year, given the wooded areas behind the home.It was a delight to see the cacti in front of the house in bloom, as we don’t often get to see that living in Northwest Oregon. We would gladly book this home again if we need to."
