"View was amazing the only highlight. The property was very dated. The table had remnants of food on it and the bin had not been emptied from the previous guests. It was 1 degree that night with no option to turn the heating on so we slept in our clothes as it was freezing!! The bath had a permanent dirty mark on it as im sure it had been there from day 1. Like I said the view was amazing and the recetionist was friendly but those were the only good point."

"This property in the Merchiston area of Edinburgh was simply fabulous. Our host, Di, greeted us and walked us through all the aspects of the property so we knew what was available and how to work everything. There was a box of shortbread waiting for us, which was a lovely welcoming gesture. The rooms and bedding were very comfortable, the back garden a lovely spot to sit in the garden and when we were there, the apples were just ripening on the trees and we were invited to help ourselves. If you are looking for a 4-bedroom property ideally located in Edinburgh, you could not go wrong with this option."

"We had a lovely stay at Ardchoille cottage which was very cosy and well equipped. Staying in October meant we were able to make use of the log fire which we very much enjoyed. The location was also perfect for visiting many of our favourite places such as Killin, Pitlochry and Aberfeldy. The garden at Ardchoille cottage was beautiful and we would regularly see a red squirrel running between the gardens in the morning, lots of pheasants too. Great walks from the back garden as well. Thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely recommend."
