Find a Great Motel Canyon

"This is our second time staying here. We love this place. It’s super cute and well taken care of. Only suggestion I have is, the room we were in had no shelves in the shower to put your shampoo and things. It would be nice to have a place to set those things instead of the floor. Thank you for the wonderful stay!!! "

"The hotel is like a mall with the rooms being on 3 levels and the room enclosed by two large windows and a glass front door that has black out curtains attached. The curtains are not attached at the bottom so they move and open up whenever you walk by. Some rooms have shutters and those rooms I can see inside what’s on the floor even with the blinds closed. I didn’t feel comfortable dressing in the bedroom because of these windows and the door even with the curtains. The doors are opened by a keypad code so you have to make sure no one is watching you open your door. The pool is next to the foyer enclosed by an open slat fence. The hotel is perfect for families with kids. For someone that wants a quiet respite, I would not recommend this hotel because you will hear kids screaming in the pool and running up and down the halls. If you want to take a bath, you have to request a tub stopper from the desk. Also my bathtub shower handle was faulty so I could only choose between a lukewarm temp or scathing hot. There are no green areas around so it’s not ideal for dog travelers. The front desk was nice and the room was clean. Breakfast was just toast and various baked goods and cereal."

"If you like staying in a room with dingy & stained bed sheets, dirty bath towels, and crusty boogers on the hand towels... this is the place for you! And if you love the smell of sour/rotten milk from the mini fridge permeating the room... stay here! Stop here if you can sleep comfortably with all of that....or if you bring all of your own linens and supplies, then maybe it's not too bad for $95 a night. Just needed a place to stay while traveling through for a total of about 7 hours to sleep, but couldn't even bring myself to shower. Only could fall asleep because I was so exhausted. Never again!"

"Our stay in the Buffalo Lodge was exactly what I had hoped it would be: remote-ish, private, cozy, and very relaxing! Andrea was the perfect hostess! Additionally, she provided a wide variety of breakfast items. I did not expect that. "
