Robes and slippers are provided for the hot tub and shower. End your night sitting by the fire. Super close to the lake and river! Conveniently located minutes from New Braunfels, Wimberly, San Marcos, San Antonio and Austin. Tour our wineries and distilleries to make your trip complete. Peaceful Retreat

Angela was amazing with her contact and direction. We lived the little cabin and enjoyed the quiet time together. I liked the outdoor shower-something very rustic and natural about it. Ambiance was perfect!!

Hope to Stay Again

We loved it. The attention to details and thoughtful actions the hosts took to make it a great time for my partner's birthday weekend, made the stay all the more special. The hot tub and outdoor space was perfect for us and our two dogs. Location was also good for us as the surrounding areas have some fun, dog-friendly hikes, yummy places to eat, and great views of Texas Hill Country. Overall, enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

Incredible and amazing experience!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience! Bryan and Angela were amazing and helped us have an unforgettable time. The attention to detail was incredible. The property is amazing especially the outdoor shower but it was their personal touch that stood out. Will definitely be back every year.

Cozy cabin

Great property loved the hot tub. Not a lot of room in the cabin but we only used it for sleeping. Only issue we had was the bed supports, this is not a bed for adult activities.

Quiet getaway

Cute, quiet little property with nice view of the stars while getting to enjoy either the hot tub or the outdoor shower. The driveway is a a little steep so if you ride a motorcycle I don’t recommend taking it down but there’s plenty of room to leave it up top. Definitely on the list of one to come back to.

Relaxing Weekend

Great weekend getaway and the hot tub was so relaxing. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and they had a birthday cake waiting for us to enjoy! We ventured off to the Devil’s Backbone Tavern for some live entertainment, this place was like going back in time and the people were so friendly. This is a great weekend getaway to truly relax and soak your cares away. I almost forgot, you can order a pizza kit to make your pizza and cook in the pizza oven on the grill. The owners were helpful and and respond very quickly to any questions you may have. Highly recommend!

Cozy get away, but might get more than you bargained for!

The cabin is cozy (small) and “rustic”. The cabin is near great spots in Canyon Lake and close to New Braunfels. It also is close (next door to) to a trailer with a lovely assortment of trash in the front yard. I understand you cannot control your neighbors, but I would not call the neighborhood “desirable”, despite the proximity to Canyon Lake hot spots. The check in and check out process were simple considering the cabin’s small foot print, there is little to pick up. The accuracy of the listing is fair, even though the images listed as “property grounds” would technically be local interest spots, as they are not on the property. Also, I would not call the Duraflame portable heater as a fireplace, but they have interpreted it as such. Note, the outdoor shower is the ONLY shower. Rustic and fun, but can be chilly in the winter time! Now, for the reason I would consider my overall stay, cleanliness and communication with the property manager a one star (would put zero if that was an option). When checking in on 1/10 I did not have any insect bites on my body. After returning home on 1/12 I noticed a two bites on my back. Considering I enjoyed two evenings by the fire pit, I disregarded the bites, thinking they were due to ants or mosquitos. On the morning of 1/15, and after an urgent care visit, a doctor advised me I was covered in 30 bed bug bites. I only saw a dead roach in the corner behind the floor lamp of the bedroom, so I cannot say for 100% fact the bed bug bites c

It was very cute and cozy. Enjoyed our time there. Only slight downfall was the mattress which was way to firm but that obviously is a personal preference. Overall we loved our time there.

This cabin has no indoor shower or bath and the driveway is not suitable for small cars and sedans. It is not properly built and is dangerously steep.i wouldNot ever stay here again. It also had roaches.

Cute and clean place. Loved the fire pit and hot tub. Water heater for shower didnt work but didnt matter because of how hot it was outside. Would stay again.

This place is quirky and awesome. The outdoor only/propane heated shower was unexpected, but really cool. The property is easy to get to, but quiet and privare, I'll happily stay here again. The hosts were friendly and easy to reach

Alone time with Wife

Very peaceful cabin getaway. Cant see the neighbors unless you resly try to. Pizza was great that was supplied by owners. Bed was very comfortable. TVs and WIFI worked great. Hot tub was dantastic. The outdoor shower is large and is great after a long day of waliking around. I look forward to doing this again. Great value.
