We had a great weekend at this Canyon Lake getaway. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable — plenty of room to relax and enjoy some quiet time by the lake.The real highlight was the Blackstone grill and fire pit — we ended up spending most of our time outside cooking, laughing, and just taking a break. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and check-in was easy.If you’re looking for a peaceful spot near the water with all the amenities you need for a fun, stress-free weekend, this place delivers. We’d definitely stay here again.

Feels like home

This was a great property with lots of space and great amenities. We had a great time hanging out by the fire pit and enjoying the hot tub. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The hosts were very helpful. We had a great stay.

Wonderful stay

Super nice home in the woods near the lake. The house was super clean, and the amenities were awesome. Temple was a great host. She was very attentive to our needs and even decorated a Christmas tree for us. It was a great week.

Family wedding

We had a family wedding and need a home to accommodate several family members. The house is good size with a large fenced back yard. House was clean,Lots of deer hanging out in the yards. Large back yard with ample seating for all of us to enjoy a drink, visit and have a few laughs.Beds were comfortable.Kitchen was well stocked.Would rent again!

Family Get together

What a fun house, fully stocked with all the extras too! The backyard was great for day and nighttime and the pool table and shuffleboard were a hit. The kitchen was stocked better than any house we have used in the past. We will be back.

Family Christmas

It was the perfect size. Feeding the deer in the front yard was tons of fun! The hot tub was very relaxing as was the fire pit! We used the grill a few times and it was very nice! All the room fits our needs and all the kids loved the game room.

Perfect for our Family Thanksgiving!

Our stay was perfect! The house was roomy, packed with fun things for the kids to do, an amazing well equipped kitchen, and a fabulous backyard! The hot tub, fire pit, pool table, and snowcone machine were fan favorites! The deer herd that visited regularly was an added bonus! Our host was quick to respond to any question or concern we had and check in was a breeze! We highly recommend this rental!

What a beautiful property and such an escape this place has to offer! There is everything you need from games, grills, fire pit, and deer you can feed by hand! We all had such a wonderful experience we will definitely be returning!

Fantastic house, highly recommend!

we were a party of ten family members, 9 adults and an infant, visiting canyon lake for a family reunion. this house was really great! huge yard, games, plenty of comfortable sleeping space, nice quiet neighborhood with deer and other wildlife, a great hot tub ,and pretty much every amenity you can imagine. the host was very responsive and accommodating, was okay with us have a family birthday party at the house, and would have been okay with our dog too, although we ended up not bringing him. I would definitely stay here again and absolutely recommend it!

Perfect Stay

This location had everything you may need for a family stay. We all agreed this was perfect from game room to Master suite. I would recommend this location for everyone from short stay to week long vacation. The Host Tim was very easy to communicate with during our stay. Thanks again.

Perfect place to host and hangout

Our wedding party thoroughly enjoyed the amenities at this property. The house is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and everything you need for fun. Highlights are the hot tub, pool table, and shuffle board. Couldn’t recommend this enough. The owner is attentive and responsive and always willing to help!

Fantastic

This place was excellent and a perfect spot for our weekend trip for my sons 30th birthday! Everything was great and we really enjoyed our stay! The pool table was a huge hit! Great customer service- the ice maker had a leak so they left us 2 large bags of ice in the deep freezer- so thoughtful! I hope we get to stay here again!

The house with everything!

This was the perfect house for us. Weather didn’t want to cooperate with our plans so had to stay inside most of the time. Luckily for us this house has everything. Pool table, shuffle board hot tub, 3 grills, board games, I mean everything. It was great and kept the kids occupied.

Amazing home!

We go to the river every year and this was the first time we stayed closer to Canyon lake. The house is well supplied with everything needed to make the stay comfortable. Lot's of things to do, pool table, fire pit, hot tub, shuffleboard etc... The kitchen had all the things needed and more. The deer in the yard was an added bonus, so amazing that the deer just came up and ate out of your hand. We will be booking again!

Canyon Lake Getaway

Our stay in this property was great, we enjoyed all the amenities within the property, the quiet neighborhood, the proximity to the lake, and the closeness to nature (the many deer visitors). It’s our second year having our family reunion at Canyon Lake, it’s the first at this property and we truly enjoyed it. There is plenty to do in the home after being out on the lake during the day. We enjoyed the interaction with the deer and also the feel of the neighborhood. There was great communication with the owners for special requests so that was a great plus. Definitely recommend this property for bigger families as there is plenty to do in and around the property.

This place had every single thing you forgot to think about in it. The pictures do not do it justice. The space was comfortable and roomy and there were any needs you have met in the extra large laundry room. It was an amazing stay and an amazing family time for us. The Christmas tree was big and beautiful! This was our first Christmas in separate states and we so enjoyed our family time in this space. Thank you!!!

Spring Break 2024

We had an amazing time! This property is conveniently close to the lake and other sites, such as Gruene Hall, but honestly, we could’ve stayed at the home for our entire trip and been perfectly content! Our group consisted of my husband and I, plus our grown kids and my sister and BIL. My daughter cooked amazing breakfasts on the Blackstone, then we would play a few rounds of pool and/or shuffleboard before getting our day started. We would end our evening by the fire pit or in the hot tub. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING! We would highly recommend this place.
