"This is our first time staying at his property. We stated many properties in Ukiah. This is maybe the best property we have had the opportunity to stay. The room was large clean. "The property was excellent. The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable and the shower pressure outstanding. My husband and I were very disappointed however with the breakfast provided. There was very little choice - and only carbohydrates - cereal, bread, waffles, bagels and english muffins. Only bananas as the fruit. There was juice available, which we did not drink. There was no protein available to eat....yogurt, or hard cooked eggs would have been perfect. Both my husband and I are diabetic and need something besides carbohydrates for breakfast. His blood sugar went through the roof after he ate (the high 200's). Please consider providing protein with your breakfast offerings."

"Val was extremely hospitable, professional, kind, and the whole stay was incredible, warm, and inviting. The cottage was immaculate and superbly designed. My dogs were comfortable and happy. The courtyard was mind blowing. The work Val puts into the plants is just jaw droppingly beautiful. We couldn't have asked for anything better. If you visit here, you must stay here as it was truly a memorable experience and we were treated like queens and welcomed with open arms. Truly rare these days. I can't say enough about the class and care this woman puts into the property and care for her clients. Spot on Val, you are absolutely a class act, person, and you have a heart of gold. We will definitely return here. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous property and lodgings. Thank you for the kindness, comfortability, and an unforgettable stay! So amazing!!"

"We had a lovely stay in your charming cottage at the Carriage House! We enjoyed the stud barn/museum/food stand immensely! Our only disappointment was not getting an opportunity to talk to anyone on arrival or during our stay for questions, tips and general information.Otherwise, we had a great time driving the beautiful road to Fort Bragg, riding the skunk train, walking the Noyo Beach Trail and exploring the area! We would highly recommend the stay if you're looking for a quiet get away!"
