"The property was immaculate and is a beautiful setting with well maintained grounds, fruit trees and privacy. The pool was used daily and is kept clean. The property sits atop a hill which is walkable to the market and Fano, however, if navigating it frequently, I would recommend renting a car. We made good friends of Nicola and Marco (taxi service.) The property manager, Tatiana, and her son Nicco and friend Valentina were wonderful. All were very responsive to our needs which were few. We had our family of 3 generations and all of us loved our stay. There was ample room ( we had both houses) for everyone. It was appreciated there was a washing machine for small items ( it cannot accommodate large or heavy loads) but was enough to keep us feeling refreshed. The kitchen had all the essentials needed. Beautiful location, beautiful host family, beautiful memories! Book it! You will not regret it!"

"The property was great and the outside areas were beautiful. The only criticism of the actual property was that the shower heads were all a bit leaky and could do with updating.However our stay was partly spoiled by the ongoing presence of the owner. On handover he advised us that he would visit every morning at 8am to water the garden and treat the pool. However over the first 2 days he frequently appeared within the garden and staying in a small annex attached to the villa. We rang the agency to complain and they agreed that he shouldn't be present after the maintenance visit. Afterwards he was less present, but would still appear when he thought we were out of the property and we were unsure whether he was present in the annex or not. Obviously this made the stay less relaxing then it should have been.Otherwise the villa was perfect for a family of 10 and the local restaurants in Novilara were lovely."
