Loved it! So peaceful, cabin was spotless. Enjoyed our time on the porch in the morning with coffee & of the evening. We got to see triplet fawns. That made our day. Enjoyed meeting & visiting with our host. It was a great stay!
Cabin was perfect size, it offered everything we needed. The area was calm and quiet, and the babbling creek made morning coffee so relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, and the cabing was so clean. Definitely an A plus place!
Shari & Mike are fantastic hosts! We felt so welcomed again & had everything we needed. They're especially good at the small touches that make the cabin top notch, like making sure the temperature was cool & comfortable when we arrived on a particularly hot day, having all we needed for s'mores, and welcoming touches. Shari gave us great inside tips on local spots. We're so glad we got to come back!
This is a cute, well-maintained little cabin on the outskirts of town next to a creek. Mountains in the distance. No traffic. Easy, private access. Clean and cozy!
We loved staying in this awesome creekside cabin. We enjoyed sitting on the porch enjoying the creek sound and birds and even deer in the mornings. The owners provided everything we needed, even left us snacks! Will definitely stay here again.
This property is perfectly located for privacy and yet close to all the conveniences. The owners are super nice people. We can't wait for our next visit there - hopefully soon! Thank you so much to Shari and Mike for sharing their lovely little cabin.
Peaceful and relaxing, yet close to it all! Comfy beds and a full kitchen. Sit on the covered front porch with the river flowing next to you, mountain view in the background while you grill up a nice dinner! The hosts are wonderful people. Incredibly kind!
What a perfect getaway! The scenery, the sound of the creek, the wildlife, the fire pit, and the horses were just a few of the perks we encountered this past weekend at the Creekside Cabin! This property may look small, but is much bigger than it looks. Very cozy and modern. Everything was so clean, and the linens smelled amazing! Loved loved loved our stay there! We will be back! Thank you, Shari!
the cabin was fine other than the stairs. They are very steep and difficult to go up or down. Especially in the middle of the night to go the bathroom. That fact should be in the description. We are in our 70's and the stairs were dangerous for us. The creek was awesome to sit beside, and we saw wildlife and loved the location! We would stay again if not for the stairs
Our family wanted to stay near Canon City to be closer to our kids' summer camp. This getaway turned out to be so much better than we'd thought possible. Shari and Mike were so thoughtful and easy to work with, communicating well and leaving lots of little touches to make us feel even more welcome. Our kids especially loved the snack and s'mores baskets! I really appreciated that everything we needed was ready to go at the cabin. We enjoyed seeing fish in the creek, roasting s'mores, and using the outdoor grill. Inside we were able to relax both upstairs and downstairs, with lots of puzzles and games and a tv with many viewing options. It was spacious enough upstairs to use our queen-sized air mattress as well as the two queen beds. The handrails are very sturdy, so we felt safe using the steep stairs. The full-sized washer and dryer were very convenient.
In addition to enjoying the property itself, the location was great. It felt private and away from it all, but was a very easy drive for exploring Canon City, the Royal Gorge, and tubing a stretch of the Arkansas River.
Would totally recommend Creekside Cabin - my son said it's the best place he's ever stayed in Colorado!
Wonderful cozy cabin with all the extras! Great location, comfy beds and pillows, full kitchen and laundry! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this little paradise! The host was very friendly and thoughtful. Great stay and we will definitely come back!!!
Amazing cabin on such a beautiful property. Everything Shari did in the Cabin was done with intention and you can tell! We can’t wait to come back again.
My stay was amazing! Shari was so sweet and welcoming, and the space was warm, comfortable, and in a beautiful location - perfect to be just a few minutes from the center of town, and also with the perfect amount of solitude near the stream, with a gorgeous mountain view.
This little piece of paradise is great for any getaway. The cabin is cozy, comfortable and fully furnished. The hosts take pride in their property and helps their guests to feel at home. While staying there, we saw a family of raccoons living in an old cottonwood tree and a blue heron in the creek which sits adjacent to the cabin.
We were impressed with the charm of this cabin and the surroundings. We were not able to stay both nights as planned due to a family emergency, but our hosts were very gracious to us. We would definitely return to this vacation rental.
