The room was good. Beds were comfortable. However, as I read in previous comments, cleanliness was really poor, specially in the bathroom. There was a crockroach in the toilet when we arrived.

Nobody around when we arrived. We had a long wait in the lobby. No fridge in room. Very basic. Door knob is very loose on main room door. Glad it’s only one night.
It was good value for our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was tasty. The area around the hotel was industrial, but the town was cute and provided some picturesque moments. Not sure what is meant by eco friendly.
Nice clean hotel
Hotel is located next to the local olice station. A nice plus in the walk back to the hotel
Went for the annual fiesta popular
Hotel within 3 minute walk to the plaza de toros & first bar/dance location
Safe walk back to hotel early morning & was met by security guard waiting at gate to let hotel users in as needed.
The included breakfast wad tipical tico
Gallo pinto, eggs, platanos (excellent), coffee.
If you drink hot tea like me
You will have to wait for them to boil water
Also only sugar , no honey
All in all a good stay and recomended if not looking for luxury.
The hotel did not match pictures. The Hotel in its day must of been a very nice hotel. Very attractive. The manager or management needs to be more professional and respectful of this business. I saw no pride in the surrounding. Firstly the pool was unusable. Brown sludge in the bottom of the pool. There was cluttered everywhere along with garbage on the ground. We got there a little early and thought we would sit by the pool until our room was ready. There was no lounge chairs. Broken cement tables were all that were there. Again dirty and weeds everywhere. We went into the very large dining room for food and coffee and got served right away. The menu was easy to read. It was so stuffy and the air quality was terrible. I had to go outside three time for fresh air. The two air conditioners were not turned on. The windows, tables, floors all needed cleaning. Very dirty. Again no pride of ownership. There was a Chinese man laying on a couch playing on his phone. Not sure what his job was or entailed. He was not energetically involved. With dirty hands and finger nails he received payment for our food.
A lot of clutter behind the counter. Messy and dirty. The one lady was nice and helpful.
Now for the hotel room. It took five minutes to get hot water and then no water pressure. The room definitely needed a lot of TLC. We got two towels. That’s it. The bed and pillows had no mattress protector same for the pillows. The TV was fairly easy to use but very difficult
Værelset var rent men i bad var mange kalk rester.
The owner of this hotel is a decent family. They are very helpful and friendly. We left our straw hats on the bus when we arrive at this hotel. Straw hats are very important on such a hot and sunny day. The hotel called the bus company, and the straw hats were sent back after 8 hours. The room was spacious and clean. Hot water in shower. Shower cubicle is very big and comfortable.
