Great location to explore Rincon and surroundings
This was our first to Costa Rica; and we arrived at Eladio's house after an initial hiccup with the car rental company. Any bad taste with the car rental company was completely gone when we first met Eladio! He's a fantastic individual - high energy, genuine, salt of the earth :-) and a great guide - knows a lot of people and places in the area!
The house was clean and comfortable. It has a basic kitchen; and was enough for our breakfast needs. The air conditioning helped a lot at night! And we were sitting in the outdoor seating area in the mornings listening to birds :-)
Eladio took us into the rain forest near Rincon; and we saw lots of toucans, a sloth, etc. We enjoyed eating local Costa Rican food at restaurants he recommended.
We loved interacting with Eladio and his family. I would highly recommend staying here as a base to explore Rincon and surroundings; and to use Eladio as a guide!
