"This hotel seemed pretty popular with people passing through and was reasonably priced. There were not many amenities, but there was porch chairs and a fire pit on the grounds with some views of the mountains. Mini golf was available for a fee. Staff was pretty friendly and there was biscuits and gravy on Sunday morning but not Saturday. I think this was an adequate stay and near Davis, Thomas and the state parks."

"Step back in time and a peaceful valley view. Rita was a wonderful host! Canaan. Valley was just the perfect respite we needed between moves. Morning coffee from the porch swing is the best way to start a day!"

"The property was a great location to the event we were in town for. The Host were great. Yes they live right by where the rental is, but only saw them coming or going. They were very friendly to talk to and made you feel like it was your property.you had a nice yard to use and a nice hiking trail right there to hike. We had outer 2 dogs and was great for them to have a place to run. Would rent this place again. The house was very clean and they prov8ded what you need. It was nice that they l8ve right there as we locked ourselves out the one day and was able to just walk over and get another key. Thanks and hope to see you next year"

"The pots and pans in the kitchen had dried food in them. The pull out couch was in bad condition, felt every spring. Other than that the stay was wonderful and the property was as described. The areas was beautiful and there was plenty to do and explore. The check in and out process went smoothly. We would stay here again."

"Beautiful view and big spacious house that easily fits 4 couples and plenty of space for kids (though we didn’t have any with us!). Nice yard. Would have loved a fire pit or hot tub but spacious two large master bedrooms and four and a half baths were so great! Lots of towels and linens and kitchen is stacked with anything you might need!!!"

"This property was wonderful. It's spacious, quiet, and well maintained. I was hesitant that there were no pictures of the bathrooms but they are as nice as the rest of the house. I will be booking this property again for next year."
