Reception staff miserable and rude upon arrival and unhelpful throughout.
Didn't get the room payed for, manager didnt help and just put us to cancellations, terrible. Room wasnt clean, toenails and hair around bedroom, cleaning staff do bare minimum which is surprising as I've always experienced them very good not here, lazy.
Location is not near anything so unless staying in hotel dont bother. A tip we found was the bus stops outside, even though not sign, worth using as was only 78p, taxis are a rip off so avoid if possible.
Restaurant food and staff were very good, the main plus.
Swimming pools were freezing inside and out, even the ones stating its heated, was definitely not.
Sadly having to write such a negative review, never had to do this with any holiday, but its good to know these things.
Complaints have gone to hotel via Expedia (who have been great) but of course hotel fails to reply.
Sad to say I wont be returning and was my worst holiday and wedding anniversary yet.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days. The breakfast was wonderful, the spa was amazing and housekeeping was on top of things. We walked to many of the really nice cafes and restaurants during our stay. It feels like a nice quaint neighborhood. Taxi drive were not bad at all but were needed if you wanted to go outside of lara and into Old Town or the resturants at the resorts. Other than that we enjoyed our stay! Thank you.
