we stayed for 3 nights in the upper floor apartment. Tastefully decorated and spacious with a very welcome outdoor patio space. Happy we found this accommodation, felt perfectly quite, restful, and secluded -away from the frenetic pace of the street markets a very short walk from your door. We shall return, just love Palermo. Great location, was a little concern about bedding, noise, and overall quality of room based on feedback but was pleasantly surprised with hotel. It is an old hotel, so something aren’t going to be perfect given the age but the location was perfect if you wanted to be close to major sites and restaurants.

Extraordinary experience at Grand Hotel et Des Palme. The hotel is beautifully maintained, impeccably clean, and perfectly located within walking distance of all the major attractions. The breakfast was truly outstanding, served in one of the most gorgeous rooms in the hotel, making each morning a special experience. The service was exceptional throughout our stay. A special thank you to Vito, who kindly arranged last minute tickets to the Teatro Massimo di Palermo for us to see the breathtaking ballet Caravaggio, an unforgettable evening! Er would definitely return.

Great place to stay! The owner and staff and so incredibly kind and helpful. They also make an amazing breakfast spread for you every morning. The location is perfect. Very close to the Main Street in Palermo that has tons of delicious restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!

The staff there was amazing. Andraina was the front desk girl and she was super helpful. She told us what restaurants were good. She would have his cars booked when we needed them. The housekeeper was great. She gave us some Mass to take to us when we went on our cruise ship and I cannot forget about Jovanna. She was the one in the restaurant that would make us fresh squeezed orange juice every morning. She danced and dance to my husband for his birthday. Just a lovely lady. I highly recommend staying at this place. It's like a boutique hotel, four stars and it's right by all the shopping and by the marina for the cruises. So you're right by everything. You can literally walk everywhere. I give this a hotel a 12 out of 10. If you want to experience things there just talk to them. They will get you the right drivers and everything we went to a little place called Monreal. Our driver's name was Luigi and he was fantastic. If you can get him as a driver while you stay there definitely ask for him. Thank you for making our honeymoon, 5-year anniversary, and birthdays amazing!
