"We stayed for two days in this lovely place Sand in Taufers. Its pretty small place, just some bars and restaurants are available but you're so close to the mountains so it was perfect for our hiking trip. The hotel itself looks on the webpage pretty cool and totally new. We booked a superior suite (€ 460 for two nights) and honestly we were more than disappointed regarding the room. "Accoglienza calorosa da parte dello staff, ci hanno dato una camera con letti per persone alte, io sono due metri, accorgimento molto apprezzato! Siamo andati subito in spa dopo una giornata di sci, SPA molto piacevole e calda, peccato per l’idromassaggio che era guasto. La cena in mezza pensione è stata di nostro gradimento, antipasto e dolce a buffet. Camere molto spaziose, pulite e molto calde (forse troppo). Ci tornerei."

"Great hotel with a nice breakfast, awesome showers and large clean rooms. Most rooms face either the mountains or valley - both are very beautiful! Tons of things to do in the area - countless hikes, rafting, biking etc. The staff and pool area are excellent. Campo di Tures is about 15 min drive - wonderful little town area, a great castle and ski resort (Speikboden) - go all the way to the top for spectacular views, hiking trails and a beautiful restaurant with excellent food!
