"Positive. - Staff when we arrived. Very nice. Great explanations. Good recommendations for restaurant. - breakfast is inclused. Limited choice but very good Negative - high level of humidity in the room. - smell of humidity as well as mold - the mattress is really bad. Both of us ended up in the middle. Need to be changed asap - this was the most expensive hotel during our vacation and the worst one. "

"Our 3 nights stay here was incredible. The owner is open and friendly, warm and welcoming. The room is immaculate, with attention to detail and a complimentary bottle of Vinho Verde. The pool is well situated, clean and warm in the evening. The breakfast is a fantastic spread of traditional and contemporary foods (their daily cake is to die for!). Beautiful beautiful Peneda de Gerês National Park. There are loads of waterfalls, river gorges and hiking trails along with traditional Portuguese villages. Every hiker and waterfall chaser should make a visit. We stayed in Campo de Gerês and spent a couple of days driving and hiking in the area. It’s been raining every day on this trip but it’s lovely nonetheless. #waterfalls #nationalparks #penedageres #hiking #camping #greatoutdoors
