"The pool and bar environment were awesome. Even a DJ every day with entertainment. There was maintenance all day. All staff were friendly including cleaning crew. Yes, I would highly recommend this place and I plan to come back again at any time."

"This is the farthest thing from a resort. No amenities other than a dirty pool. This property is falling apart. “Housekeeping” leaves towels in your room.. no beds are made - nothing is cleaned or wiped down. I wore shoes in the shower because it was so dirty. There were cockroaches in the lobby and spiders in the room. Zero beach amenities - those have to be rented for $50-100 a day.. no snorkeling/water activities on site.. the charge you $131 resort fee - $15/day for parking - and $250 deposit for no smoking.. it’s a joke."

"Update everything"

"I arrived early, went on to let them know. Was immediately told by the owner, I presume, your check in is at 4, I said I understand, was just letting them know I was there… he told me to go get lunch, said I already did, next door. He asked for my cell number and would call me when it was ready. I went to another restaurant on the other side of the hotel. Walked over right at 4, since I never received a phone call, room was ready. Went to the room and it had the most awful smell, no idea what the smell was other than a smell from the carpeting. The bed was so hard and squeaked every time I moved and I was very disappointed in the pillows on the bed. I only picked this place to stay one night to be close to the airport. Earlier in the week, I stayed in Panama City Beach. I won’t stay there again. One of the restaurants next door, when they asked where I was staying told me I should not stay there…, a lot of trouble in the past, freaked me out… another guy said, new owners and they have been remodeling and trying to get a better reputation than the old owners… I was only there for not even 12 hours due to check in and when I had to leave for the airport."

"everything was great. you can't go wrong with this hotel. our room was clean; we had ocean view. staff was friendly and accommodating. we were initially put in a room on the 1st floor. room was fine, clean, except that it had a bunk bed in it, which made the room less spacious. so, we asked to be transferred, and they upgraded us to a bigger room with ocean view, all for free. they also let us check out an hour late. the best part of this hotel was it was right on the beach."

"The Hampton Inn was a perfect retreat for my kids and I and only steps from the beach. It is not the fanciest place around, but it was clean, had a great breakfast and the perfect place for us for a quick trip to the beach! We could walk to restaurants and the beach was just right there! We would certainly come back on our next trip down south!"
