"lovely hotel, great spa facilities & lovely meal. staff all fab . nly issue was the security bold on the room jammed into place when we were int he spa so we couldnt get back into our room and they had to call maintenance. the lady on reception said it happens often. we were in a hurry so it was not great and we began to panic about the time. these should be removed and replaced with ones that cant lock when you leave the room. very scary if you left a young child in there and popped out for 1 minute or had a train to catch etc. aoart from that it was brtilliant - thank you "

"Definately NOT a 5 star hotel. Rooms in massive need of updating, and the spa also. The Spa when we went was very messy, paper cups and peoples slippers/robes on floor scattered about. Looks like in need to some TLC. Visited Bath many a time and far nicer places to stay in my opinion, especially for the price. Building is beautiful, breakfast was as expected, check in fine, staff lovely, location ok 10 min walk into centre - just desperately needs some updating. "

"Hotel was clean and comfortable. My main issue was that there wasn’t decent lighting in the room - the lights in the main room were very dull. Fine for the evening but felt like I couldn’t see properly in the morning - especially as there was very little day light coming into the room."
