"We enjoyed our stay. The room was adequate but the room had a musty smell near the headboard of the bed. It wasn’t bad enough to request another room but it was definitely present. The breakfast is probably one of the best we’ve had as included. The hostess is very friendly and works hard to make sure everything was stocked. The staff is very friendly as well."

"This Colonial Beach property is perfect! The open space, location, decorations and the view from the lovely porch all were above expectation! Nothing needs change. Watching the sunrise and set were beautiful and as an added bonus a neighbor was sunset crabbing. So a treat to watch. Thank you for a terrific stay."

"This was my first VRBO experience and I loved how easy it was. The cottage is rustic and simple but that’s exactly what I was looking for. I ended up not making it to the winery, but it was an easy drive into Colonial Beach and over to George Washington’s birthplace. And a cozy place to curl up and read during the afternoon thunderstorm!"
