"The room was clean but the back of the door to the closet (which was a full sized mirror) had an eye level place that you could look through the mirror from the back side which was a little odd. The AC unit didn’t work great, and there was no couch as stated on the listing. There also was a prom happening during my stay at a different facility and every single parking spot in the hotel lot and neighboring lots were taken up. While this wasn’t entirely in their control, they did nothing to prevent people who were not staying at the hotel from parking in the parking lot and had no solution for guests to park. It wasn’t a terrible experience overall, just some things that could be remedied."

"The hotel had a strong unpleasant odor as soon as I walked in, and the elevator was no better. It immediately made me question the overall cleanliness of the place. The rooms are noticeably outdated and run down. On the positive side, I didn't see any bugs and the bedding appeared clean — so there's that, at least."

"This is a historic hotel but things are a bit in transition. My room was clean, very spacious but with a mixture of some parts partially renovated and others quite dated. Given the older windows, the street noise creeps in easily. Nothing about my room really looked as depicted online. Valet service was good. Restaurant is ok. Not a bad choice but the hotel seems a bit aspirational."
