This comfortable cabin nestled on Codman Island amongst the pines of Megunticook Lake is a very rare find in Camden. The cabin is located on a quiet dead end road with great water access and a private dock. The house is located within a few minutes of downtown Camden and a short drive to the Megunticook Lake boat launch. The house has been renovated over the past few years with updated stainless steel appliances, new bathroom, bedding and home decor.
Upon arriving at the cabin, you are welcomed by a large screened in porch with a small seating area for quiet evening conversation; continuing through to the main house, the open concept dining, living and kitchen area with views of the lake off the back porch. The couch in the living room pulls out into a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Stools at the kitchen counter provide additional seating areas. The two comfortably sized bedrooms, one queen and one with a full and twin bed, both well appointed and share a spacious bathroom with a large shower.
This location feels private, even on one of the most popular lakes in Midcoast Maine and is minutes to Camden Maine which provides numerous shopping and dining options. Book a sail aboard one of the popular Schooners, or go rock climbing in the Camden Hills State Park. Contact Mike Kinney to charter a fishing tour around Megunticook Lake. Visit the Childrens Museum or the Farnsworth Museum in Rockland on rainy days or a take a day trip to Bar Harbor. There is a little bit of everything for everyone just minutes from the Redwood Cabin!
