"What an absolutely wonderful time we have just spent in Caunes Minervois - everything we hoped for and more. Taking the house for a month allowed us to really get a feel for the village although for 2 of us it was a return visit after 13 years! The house is extremely comfortable and all amenities are excellent. We were lucky enough to win the toss and get the top floor bedroom with adjoining lounge which had such a beautiful outlook across the roof tops to the distant hills. Trying to understand...

"Lovely remote place to stay. Ideal if you want to enjoy quiet and peace the countryside, talking, relaxing and taking it easy. Not a place if you want TV, internet and all the modern distractions in life - go to a hotel or a villa. But that is what makes it so good. Family dinners around a table making a perfect end to the day. Note that phone signals can be found but may need to move around a bit in the grounds. "The house is stunning, so much room for a large group, we had 3 generations together. The pool was great, the kids loved the table football, pool table, darts and table tennis. Kitchen was very well equipped and the bbq and plancha were well used. The house was spotlessly clean and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. The air conditioning and black out blinds were a welcome feature! Thank you for a wonderful stay! "
