"We stayed there for one night and the house was amazing!! We enjoyed the great views, spa, starry night sky, and saw a lot of wildlife including kangaroos and possums! The house was so cute and cozy. The only thing was the cleaning wasn’t adequate before we arrived, as we saw small pieces of rubbish around the property (such as snack packages/caps from containers, hair pins, crusts of food left behind in the dining area/near outdoor spa/bathrooms). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again!"

"Alcheringa Cottage is aa quaint as the photo on the ad!.It is just outside the Kangaroo Valley village (Nowra side) and entry off the road leading to the Cottage was via an electric operated gate that worked well going in, but we had trouble getting out on the last day of our stay -- however we were able to contact help through the phone number on the gate (? the owner) who helpedus leave -- presumably that problem has been fixed.Once entering the property, there was aa 1.4km uphill track leading to the main homestead and nearby cottage. All mod cons were provided for and there was a lovely wood fire available which we made good use of -- plenty of larger firewood, but a bit lacking in kindling size.II enclose some photos of the early morning sunrise which was stunning. Total peace, with aa couple of Alpacas grazing on the other side of the fence.The 2 bedrooms were lovely, electric blankets, heater, warm bedding. The taps in one of the bathrooms were very hard to turn on - I suggest new tap designs as well as new washers!Plenty of wildlife on the drive up to the cottage including wallabies & wombats.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was well priced. Thank you!"

"Beautiful property with fantastic views but access through two locked gates was not advertised. Well stocked, but needed a bit of maintenance and attention to cleaning. Wombats and kangaroos and kookaburras came to visit. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
