In the hills above the picturesque fishing village of Câmara de Lobos and only a 10-minute drive to Funchal, Moradia Falesia is a beautifully furnished house with breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and sea. Its location makes it the perfect option for everyone - those wanting to be in a sunny area, seeking tranquillity, preferring to be close to town, looking to explore Madeira, or seeking the perfect house for a long stay for either leisure or work. Being perched on the hillside, it has an upside-down layout. The carport leads to the first landing which accesses both the office and the rooftop sundeck. On floor below are the three bedrooms (two of which have panoramic sea-view), and two bathrooms. The living area occupies the floor below. The stairs open to the spacious sitting area with the large flatscreen TV, and which leads via patio doors to the front terrace with outdoor seating and steps to the sloping mature garden; imagine yourself relaxing, taking in the views of the sea and Cabo Girão (the second highest cliff in the world) and enjoying the beautiful sunsets! Behind the lounge is the fully equipped kitchen with dining table. A patio door leads to the rear terrace where you will find a covered built-in barbecue and separate laundry room.

The nearest town is the picturesque fishing village of Câmara de Lobos (where Churchill famously painted), 2.4 Km away, and here you will find larger branded supermarkets, cafés and a good variety of restaurants and the nearest beach. It is the home of the famous poncha cocktail, made with sugar cane rum, and around the old town centre water well are numerous bars that specialise in this drink, each with their own special recipe. The municipalities of Câmara de Lobos and Funchal run into each other, and the centre of Funchal is an easy 10 minute drive away (9 Km). Being close to the expressway, Moradia Falesia is the perfect base from which to explore Madeira’s beautiful countryside and majestic mountains.
