Escape to Paradise and fall in love with this warm and welcoming home with 3 bedrooms that sleeps 6 people. There is a king bed, a queen bed, a bunk bed, and 1.5 bathrooms. You will feel and see nature's beam into this open, naturally lit home accented with natural wood and clean finishing. It also comes with a large wraparound deck, a gas grill, and a large dining area for entertaining. The great room is filled with extra-large, grand windows that span the length of the entire home.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern appliances you should need!

With this home comes your own private beach that is for guests of this home only. If visiting in the colder months, there is a beautiful fireplace in the living room to keep you warm as you cozy up with your favorite book.

When you book a getaway with us, you are guaranteed essential amenities including WIFI and cable TV, but nearly all of our homes also come with kayaks and fishing poles to keep adventure close by. You are free to explore local destinations including the - vineyards for wine tasting, farm stands to support local growers, a close-knit beach community, and more nature reserves to explore. The 5-star restaurants are just minutes away as well as the Hamptons, Greenport, Montauk, and/or Shelter Island.

Summary of stay
I really wanted to give this house a 5-star rating, as Debbie the property manager was so lovely to deal with, however, there were too many short comings which downgraded my rating. First of all, the house is lovely and in a really nice area with a very short walk to the beach, which is an amazing sight to see. This is an upside-down house, meaning the entrance level (you have to walk up a flight to get to) is where the bedrooms are, and another flight up is where the kitchen/living and dining room section is. It should be noted that there are a lot of stairs to navigate in this house. Stairs to get up to the front door from the driveway, stairs to get up to the kitchen and living room area and stairs down to the basement/laundry area (located within the queen bedroom). We rented the house towards the end of October so in the evenings and early mornings it got chilly. The house was very clean upon arrival, and the kitchen was very nicely appointed with everything you needed. However, there were items which were listed as being available which were not physically available for use, unless you reached out to the property manager. In our case, there was no hair dryer upon arrival. The TV prominently displayed in the king bedroom, on the dresser opposite the bed, did not work and after inquiring about it, was told it had to be connected by the cable company. We chose to forgo the TV downstairs as we did not want to have to wait for the cable company appointment. The one main bathroom was a bit dark, as bulbs in the light above the mirror were not working. One of the bulbs were replaced the next day. The fireplace could not be used as there was no wood or anything to burn, which was unfortunate as it got chilly in the evenings and a fire would have been great to have and, there was no propane tank connected to the grill for us to use. As it got annoying to have to keep messaging the property manager for items that we assumed were available for use, like firewood and propane tank, we just went without and dealt with it. However, the expectations had been set, upon arrival, by the booking listing. If all of these items had been available for use, this would have been an amazing rental. I do give Debbie a 5+ star rating as she was always prompt and very kind when answering my questions.

Exceptional Beach House, Property & Community: Clean, Airy, High Ceilings in Common Areas, EZ to keep clean (-all important in Era of Covid), Well-appointed, Good Condition Mod-Cons, Canopy-deck feels like you are in a treehouse, Quick walk to the beach where Friendly Neighbors wave to you, and yet, at home, one feels secluded with one's guests, in the quietude of birds chirping. In addition to water activities, Nature, Walking & Cycling possibilities are extensive: We explored the Baiting Hollow estuary flowing out to the Sound. We even had time to hike all the way "up" to the WWI Boat "Wrecks", thereby approaching them from the "opposite" direction for the 1st time in our lives; a total thrill. Our family lives in a nearby beach community. The local AND out-of-down relatives converged, to assist our Matriarch exhibit her artwork at Hallockville Festival, so of course, we needed to rent a home for the 'overflow'. It could NOT have been a MORE perfect weekend. Property Managers are responsive, organized and thorough. Highly Recommend.

Good location and positive
Overall, happy. At first, it seemed to be a little remote, but it was central to all the main towns and activities on the north fork. We did have some minor issues (pillows and iron, etc.), and Luxury Rentals were super responsive and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The beach is very close and though cobbled still a very nice location for swimming or using the kayaks in the home.

Better than photos
better than photos in a summary. It was clean, close to the beach, everything was as explained. Area: Quiet residential area with few houses, surrounded by trees, 1-min walk to the beach that gets a great sunset, 20-30 mins walk to the vineyard nearby (walk on a not busy road) House: squeaky clean! The kitchen had everything we needed. Not sure if it was provided by the property manager or left over from the previous user but there was a case of water and lots of ice cubes in freezer available, how sweet. Starting the morning sitting in the balcony listening to the birds chipping over an iced coffee was beyond perfect. There were a few board games as well. The second floor (basically living room, dining room and kitchen with the view of balcony) was just my favorite party of the house. There was a garage and washer/dryer there but we didn’t use it. Communication: couldn’t get a hold of them much during the day but they got back almost immediately in the morning and evening. Even on the July 4th evening, thanks again!
