"Everything was perfect…albeit pricey, but that is just me: have not travelled lately. Staff amazing, hotel really well located, everything clean and perfect. Pool and spa closed until next week, just bad luck/timing and we could use the pool next door. All great"

"We had a great stay! Breakfast was nice, rooms were very clean, very friendly staff, convenient nearby parking. Only complaint was that the AC unit made some weird noises at night, despite being off."

"My rating is partially on my stay but more so the staff experience. Background: I have always wanted to visit this property. I am from the West Coast in California and it is a long journey to get there upon arrival. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. It is everything that I wanted in terms of a retreat and a place to really have a sense of peace. Unfortunately, there were two events that happened in rapid succession and I was not happy or enthused at all. Rather than go into the details of what transpired, I would like to go more in depth into their response. We all make mistakes, however, what I found very refreshing was that one, they not only owned up to both incidents, but two, they made every conceivable effort to atone for them. That level of honesty and urgency is ultimately why I would visit this resort again. That level of dignity and respect is very much appreciated and it was because of that that I was able to enjoy the rest of my time there."

The restaurant had no problems with me desiring to eat in my room instead of the establishment. Will stay there again on return "
