Stayed here during the Memorial Day weekend to unplug from the big city (we drove from the Long Beach area) and it took 3.5 hours. Charming little cottage right by a small creek. My children ages 4 and 7 adored finding small creatures and playing in the yard. We had a “picnic” outside each dinner time. Since it’s so close to the 100 Giants trailhead, we managed to get there early before the holiday rush and leave before craziness ensued. My husband enjoys fishing and Kern Lake is also close by.
The house was extremely charming, mid century cottage themed, with all the creature comforts. It had everything I needed to cook all my family’s meals.
Joanie the host is quickly available via messages.
I hope to visit soon again!
Joanie is a host that actually wants to host! It was such a great stay in such a pretty area, I can’t recommend it enough. She even dropped off an extra heater during our stay, and even had decor that I could use for my fiancé’s birthday. The stay was everything we were hoping for!
The property owner has gone above and beyond in every way possible! I would give 10 stars if I could, absolutely the best experience to date with VRBO! HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!!
