Great place, but double check your reservations...

There was a good deal of initial confusion. First off, the hotel's name is Hotel Suites House, not Apartamentos Juanambu, so I was afraid I was in the wrong place, except the address and phone number were correct. It would be much less confusing if the correct name was listed on hotels.com. Secondly, they never recorded my reservation--they were not expecting me. Initially, they said they didn't have a room for me. (Great, I thought. I'm in a foreign country where I speak the language poorly and I don't have a place to stay.) They ended up rearranging some things so that I could have a room, but it wasn't the one I reserved--it was a lower grade room, so I wasn't thrilled with that either, but at least had a place to stay. After the initial chaos, though, it's a great place to stay. Nice, spacious apartasuites in a great location--there's a mall two blocks away with a full-sized grocery store in the bottom. The staff was, as at seemingly all locations in Colombia, very friendly, helpful and courteous.

Prima aparthotel. Grote kamers en netjes schoon. Ligt vlakbij leuke uitgaanstraat met bars en restaurants. Kamer prijzen zijn in het hotel een stuk lager en als buitenlander betaalt men geen Toeristen belasting
