Great place great location

This hotel is great, the staff were super friendly the room was huge it was more like an apartment, the nicest thing for me was parking available at the property, if im back in cali this is the place to stay

El hotel se ubica en una casa antigua, en la mitad de un barrio antiguo y muy turístico de Cali. Las habitaciones son amplias, como un apartamento pequeño, con sala y cocina pequeñas. Muy buena opción para visitar esa parte de la ciudad.

I was recommended the hotel by a local expat friend and when he came by he apologized to me, even told his family later he felt bad sending me there. There are so many other options around San Antonio, look elsewhere. They seemed almost empty, midweek, yet put me on the (dangerous even with bars to open the windows) ground floor front street (loud) corner. The furniture was shabby and broken, bed a rock slab mat, the lighting bare and harsh (if you're looking for a romantic stay it's not here) and the bathroom is out of the 70s with a gadget that heats the shower nozzle that cycles from room temp to hot, back cold, over and over. The breakfast is very very basic unlike most places I read in Cali. Worst, I relied on internet to communicate locally on my cell and it was down half the 3 days there. Note re. booking/Expedia: the hotel was adamant I didn't pay and that is still ongoing. It's such a charming area! I hope this review helps you not waste your precious trip time.

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Our room (a top floor suite) was massive and beautiful with lots of fun spaces and amazing views. The neighborhood the hotel is in has many good restaurants but it is quieter than downtown.

Lovely property! Located in the charm of the city. We enjoyed celebrating my Birthday in my hometown. The service was amazing and everyone was attentive. This Colonial hotel has a unique vibe that lets you feel you are in Colombia. Spacious, centrally located, tons of restaurants and bakeries in the area and lovely birds. We were greeted by a sweet nest above our door that has 2 little babies. My 6 year son enjoyed checking up on them every morning and the hammock in the patio was like a baby swing for our little 1 year old baby. Thanks for making our stay in Cali an encanto.

The affordable nightly room rate, the attentiveness of the hotel staff, its location in the city's wonderful Barrio San Antonio and its proximity to a pleasant park near the Chapel of San Antonio made for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. This Hotel is centrally located in a great area. I loved the Master suite with the view of the mountains and will reserve it again. Staff was great and very courteous, and I loved the breakfast. Again, will definitely reserve again.

This was a great property and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I only have once issue and that has to do with the location. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is very hilly and I mean step hills. i was a workout waking anywhere. if you stay here i would definitely plan on using cabs to get around.

Pésimo servicio

Hice la reserva y el pago con un mes de anticipación. Llegué al hotel y no tenían nuestra reserva se demoraron en dar respuesta, nos tocó volver una hora después para ver qué pasaba. No nos pudimos hospedar en el hotel, nos trasladaron a otro que no se asemejaba al inicialmente pagado y reservado. No quedaba cerca de la ubicación que habíamos elegido. La explicación fue escueta y sin fundamento. Terrible el servicio y la organización.

Buena localización cerca de los cafés y restaurantes de San Antonio y a corta distancia del centro. Como alojamiento es mediocre o malo. No hay recepción, solo una pequeña oficina con personal que parece no saber lo que tiene que hacer. La habitación amplia, con salon y cocina abierta, pero nada cómoda (detalles como una sola mesita de noche o sin enchufes junto a la cama). Un ventanal y una ventana daban a una pared blanca a menos de un metro. Limpieza regular o mala (las almohadas olían a humedad). El desayuno, pobre, se sirve en la propia habitación ya que no hay comedor o bar. En definitiva, una mala calidad-precio y un sitio poco confortable.

Hotel muito bem localizado. Ficamos numa suíte e fomos muito bem atendidos pela Gerente do Hotel. Os funcionários são fantásticos e muito prestativos. O café da manhã é abundante e delicioso. Servem-no na suíte, na hora agendada. Garagem ampla, com vigilância 24 horas. O bairro é excelente e repleto de restaurantes. Serviço diário de limpeza com troca de toalhas. Banheiro com ducha muito bom. Internet funcionando em todos os lugares. Tivemos apenas que solicitar alguns utensílios para a cozinha , como panelas, esponja de limpeza, detergente. Poucos brasileiros visitam Cali, uma cidade maravilhosa que reúne o colonial com uma moderna arquitetura sem falarmos na simpatia e cordialidade do povo. Descobrimos, na Colômbia, outra cidade linda para ser novamente visitada.

Lovely Hotel

This is a lovely hotel. We stayed in a suite which is like a large apartestudio. It is very comfortable and the staff very nice. I was however very disappointed when we arrived back at the hotel at around 4 pm and the room hadn't been cleaned. It also was not cleaned yesterday but i wasn't too concerned about it. Today however before leaving i specifically told the lady at reception that we were going out and that the ladies could enter the room to clean. I was told that they werent sure and misunderstood. The gentleman for the evening shift is and has been very professional and offered to change our room. Yesterday there was also an issue in that the proprietor tried to enter to show our room to a couple because she had been told that we had checked out. She apologized profusely, but clearly there is an issue here with communication between the day staff on these 2 days. Otherwise, it is a really lovely hotel and i suggest they coukd make it evn better by addressing the communication problem and not try to blame the client saying they didnt understand.

The Hotel.com photos are not all accurate

The photos listed on the Hotels.com website are not accurate. They show more upscale photos than the room we were given. This is a three story apartment building that's been converted to a hotel. The Internet in our room (204) didn't work the entire stay. They did try to fix it, but never worked. Nice location for local restaurants and easy to walk around and get cabs. I'd rate this hotel a 3 star.

Quick Stay

We stayed for 1 night on our long layover in Cali. The rooms were incredibly spacious, we didn’t stay long enough to get the history of the place but they seemed to be converted apartments. The checkin process was smooth and they had someone available in the office until 10pm. There was no way to call them (or at least they didn’t tell us) which was a bit inconvenient. They found us a pack n play for our son to sleep in which was impossible to put together. They didn’t have any staff aside from the security guard who was busy so I had to lug this heavy thing up their long flight of stairs, even tho the girl in the front office had a male friend there. He didn’t offer any help. Nestor, the nighttime security guard was AMAZING! He spent almost 20 minutes helping my husband get the pack and play together. He went way above and beyond!

Samuel Rivera Técnico de sonido y Músico de Puerto Rico.Mi visita a cali Junio 14 al 22 /2017 Recomiendo este hotel para los turistas un hotel tiene una impresión de casa al estilo colonial cómodo su patio en el centro tiene una hermosa vista adornada con su fuente palmeras escaleras y habitaciones geniales la limpieza del hotel se nota a cada lugar de las habitaciones baños y del mismo. los empleados muy atentos dispuestos a complacer las inquietudes de sus huésped. la recepción del hotel y su seguridad muy responsable. cuenta con un sistema de Wireless en cada habitación excelentes.comercio y lugares de actividades Restaurantes panaderías quedan como mas distante a unos 5 minutos de a pie. salir a caminar por el barrio y compartir un saludo cariñoso de los caleños.

Hotel aconchegante e agradável.

O hotel é bem agradável, limpo e seguro. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos. Destaque para a jovem Luíza, que trabalha na recepção e recebe os hóspedes com uma simpatia ímpar. Adorei a opção de tomar o café da manhã no quarto. :)
