"This was a perfect location for a stay in Madiera. Nice view, free parking, and all the amenities anyone could want in the room. So many thoughtful extras like wine, bottled water, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, washing machine and drying rack, etc. I would definitely stay again. "

"though I was only there for a night, Pedro was an absolute doll, was very attentive when I had arrived past the check-in time and super helpful and recommending a restaurant that was more local and extremely friendly. The location is perfect for the area where restaurants are right down the road and you are walkable to the promenade. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! "

"Pools were very cold. Staff were hit and miss, some excellent some not. Had an issue with the room bill which took time to fix and they werenât very apologetic, not what I would expect from a 5 star hotel. Room was good, could have been cleaner and the spec was cheap. Restaurant was overpriced and extremely slow but the view was amazing. Nice hotel but donât expect 5 star anything, much more of a 4 star experience. "
Spacious villa, 180* ocean view, large heated pool, 5 min from Calheta beach
10/10 Excellent
"This Villa is the best VRBO that we have ever stayed at. Every part of the Villa was amazing. The view was spectacular. It was well worth the little extra to heat the pool. The kitchen was well appointed. The owners do their best to give their guests a lot of options for activities in the area. The location was always in the sunshine despite the micro climates around the island. Also the location was an easy drive to the beach, groceries, cliff top views, PR hikes and any exploring desired. The island of Madeira is amazing. "
"The room was nice and spacious. We had a cobbled floor in the room which was hard to walk on and felt less hygienic. The pools are quite small. The bathroom jacked an extractor fan do the walls were very wet after using the shower. The bathroom floor was not well drained so remained wet until after the dealers had been. Tea and coffee making facilities were inadequate. We were not shown the communal rooms on arrival (lounge areas) and did not discover these till later in our stay. There are very few facilities close to the hotel. There are steep elites and steps on the site so not suitable fit people with mobility issues. We felt like we were tolerated as an add on to the vineyard rather than valued guests "
"I recently stayed at this lovely one-bedroom property in FajĂŁ da Ovelha, hosted by Irina, and I couldnât have asked for a better experience. I chose this spot for its locationâitâs on the south coast, where the weather is generally better, and the sea views are stunning. Itâs just a short stroll to the coast, and everything felt peaceful and off the beaten path.I came to Madeira for photography, and the location worked perfectly. Ponta do Pargo Lighthouse and Levada are within a 10min drive away, whilst most landmarks like Fanal Forest and the dramatic sea stacks of Ribeira da Janela are within 45mins. Irina was incredibly accommodating, too. My flight was delayed by two days, and she kindly adjusted my booking so I didnât lose any timeâno extra charge, just genuine hospitality. The apartment itself was spacious and cozy for a one-bed. The kitchen was well-equipped, with plenty of fridge space, a great oven, and a reliable gas hobâperfect for cooking after a long day of shooting. It felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights was Irinaâs two Alsatians, Essa and Enola. They were friendly and well-behaved, adding to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Irina herself was lovelyâhelpful and informative, but never intrusive.Overall, I canât recommend this place enough. Itâs a great base for exploring Madeiraâs photography hotspots, and the hospitality is top-notch. Iâd happily stay again!"
"while the weather was beyond anyoneâs control, I had such a cozy stay and was perfect for the R&R that I needed. The grounds, the room and the entire property was so delightful though there were other guests. I donât think I saw even one! It was truly so lovely in the rooms. I think everyone was cozied up by their fires during the rainy evenings. I really loved the grocery store, though the prices are a bit higher than in store, youâre paying for the convenience of all your necessities being right there and I thought that was really nice. Plus your room already comes with plenty of eggs, cheese and bacon for breakfast cereals, granola and yogurt as well as milk and juice so thereâs not really much else to grab unless you are going to make a nice dinner. I truly loved all of the kitties, despite Iâm allergic, they were adorable, kept to themselves, and weâre awfully cuddly when I was leaving (They are also vaccinated so thereâs no worries.) on top of that there are chickens, ducks, and sheep on the property and I hope to come back when the weather is better to enjoy that beautiful pool, the vegetation, and the beautiful views!
thank you again for such a wonderful stay and apologies again for setting off the fire alarm! đ iâve got to get used to using those cast-iron stoves! "
