"We loved this campsite! Staff were welcoming and friendly, bungalow was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony. The site was lovely and peaceful in natural surroundings and beautiful scenery. River views from the pool area were just amazing. Pool area nice but we didnt get to use unfortunately.

"Wow! What a privilege to stay in a one of a kind architecturally amazing home overlooking the Douro River. João, our host, helped us navigate our way to the home and welcomed us with chocolate, wine and kindness.The accommodations lacked nothing. The home was clean, comfortable, beautiful, well-appointed and a view that felt more like a postcard than reality.I would definitely recommend this home, and personally, I look forward to another opportunity to visit.Thank you João for everything!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this rustic house in Douro valley. Fatima was very kind and helpful, and took the time to answer all my questions, in spite of having a family emergency. The location is pretty remote, so make sure to pick up groceries and essentials en route. I think a car is a must. The views are spectacular. It wasn't yet warm enough to use the pool, but I'm sure it'll be lovely in the summer. On the other hand, it was early spring and the orange blossoms and wisteria scented the air, wildflowers were everywhere, and there were fewer crowds. Feels like a good tradeoff to me! "

"Fatima was a gracious host! Beautiful home with stone walls. Gave a great Portuguese experience. Lovely view!! Only wish it was warmer to use the pool! We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio sipping our Porto, taking in the view to the smell of orange blossoms! Truly lovely!"
