"We enjoyed our stay at this rustic house in Douro valley. Fatima was very kind and helpful, and took the time to answer all my questions, in spite of having a family emergency. The location is pretty remote, so make sure to pick up groceries and essentials en route. I think a car is a must. The views are spectacular. It wasn't yet warm enough to use the pool, but I'm sure it'll be lovely in the summer. On the other hand, it was early spring and the orange blossoms and wisteria scented the air, wildflowers were everywhere, and there were fewer crowds. Feels like a good tradeoff to me! "
