We were received by super friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is clean and you can walk to many places from it. Parking is free, breakfast was delicious and you can tell this is a family owned business by the level of care they have with the guests.

Wonderful hotel!
Perfect stay at the Caldas da Rainha! The room was well appointed, clean and large. Front desk was extremely thoughtful and helped navigate our way through town. Breakfast was varied and very good.

We stayed in a budget room which was fairly small. I understand there are much larger rooms but do not book this room if you have a lot of luggage, we were squeezing by each other. Overall a good stay, the place is super clean, breakfast is good there’s no pool. Good location but about a 20 minute walk to the beach. Would definitely stay there again but get a bigger room.

Great staff
Tiago (staff member) was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble, and he was extremely pleasant - a credit to the hotel. He even moved our room as we initially had a room on the side with a small balcony which had an extractor next to and the vapour from the pipe engulfed the balcony making it unusable. Thank you Tiago, you made our stay most enjoyable and we will return.

Clean, pleasant hotel
Nice hotel, where all of the staff we had contact with were pleasant and helpful. Room and hotel were clean and tidy. Internet was ok also. Nice breakfast, although the cooked offerings were tepid at best, but everything else was fine.

MOLD, MOLD, MOLD - but nice person at check in.
We arrived early - they would not allow us to check in till 3pm (hotel policy) there was a total of less than 5 guest in the 30 rooms - after a few hours I convinced clerk to let us in. There was so much mold in the shower - he blamed it on the humidity - said that the mold was under the silicone in the shower - it was protruding the silicone ( which was breaking off) My wife did not want to take a shower. The window sills were very dirty. I asked the front desk if anyone checks on the cleaning crew, did not get an answer. Nice breakfast, extremely nice and apologetic front desk person. Would Not stay here again.

Nice place.
I'm very nice place, very clean. Very helpful staff. Place was very close to the restaurants. Very delicious breakfast. The only concern was that the room was small and the bathroom was 3x 8. So if you are a big guy you will have a tough time walking in the bathroom.

We had a lovely stay at Água d’Alma Hotel. We were greeted warmly and with a high level of attention and service. Our room was impeccably clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple and plentiful, and staff was constantly replenishing. We had no issues with parking and the hotel is very close to the beach - not walking distance but a very short drive. In the future we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

A three star hotel that offers five star service.
The hotel is in the center of Foz do Arelho, a short distance to a more than amazing beach. The village is charming as is this wonderful hotel. The owner and staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Don’t give this one a miss if you’re in the area. A real gem.

Staff and hotel design and location very good. Room suffers from cold/ damp feeling and high condensation - I suspect the window and external wall is not insulated - for example our clothes and papers were damp in the morning and there was a river on the window-cill. No ventilation and no emergency lighting in case of power cut.

Everything was wonderful. They just completed renovation. Nice, clean lines and colors, modern furniture. Spotless. The staff were very helpful, and were obvious they were passionate about their jobs and highly dedicated to make our stay a pleasant one. The breakfast buffet was great. Homemade and local breads, jams and food. Highly recommend it!

Comfortable, clean and modern.
My wife and I stayed for 2 nights as part of our 20 wedding anniversary holiday. Lovely boutique hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and the wifi was great. The only thing missing was a bar fridge and kettle in the room. The buffet breakfast was also great.

The Água d'Alma Hotel is modern, spotless and well equipped. The check in was superb and staff were friendly and offered great advice on dining options at some nearby restaurants. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area with ample parking and is new and the bed was comfortable. The shower had loads of lovely hot water. Sitting on the patio in the evening was the best therapy after a days sightseeing. Breakfast was substantial and delicious.
