"This is one of the worst rooms I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. The toilet stopped working and ran throughout the night, the fan makes noise so you can’t keep that on, the ac sounds like it has a diesel engine attached to it, the rooms smells like exhaust, the food in the morning is absolutely horrendous. You cannot walk on the beach without sandals. The resort grounds are pretty nice but The rooms are run down. They also have the most expensive water in the entire Phillipines. The staff is nice, always smiling but in no way can that make up for the terrible amenities."

"It is a wonderful place to stay at least 3 nights and enjoy the great places to visit in Bohol and the Loboc River next to the Loboc River Resort. The staff is outstanding in happy their energy. Being a river resort it is a little rustic which makes the place very special but there will be issues like water leaks, a malfunctioning safe and one morning we had no hot water but those problems were promptly resolved by their maintenance almost immediately after reporting the issues. I’m sure it is quite a struggle to keep a place like that next to the river clean and operational. The breakfast buffet included was also very good. I highly recommend the Loboc River Resort. We stayed 3 nights in early January 2025. No mosquitos or snakes but lots of small lizards which give authenticity to the resort. "
