"Very nice property with a nice spa. Temperature control is an option as the air conditioning isn't available some times of year. So if you are there on a warm day you will have to hope the outside temperature drops enough to keep you cool. Restaurant was buffet and mediocre at best. "This is a very odd place. Sure it is an old palace but the rooms are in a basement like plant. In the bathroom the hot water took ages and the shover did not work. We were the only guests and therefore they closed the dining-room and the library and half past eight and the only way our was through the emergency door by the kitchen. It is not a recommendable hotel.The surroundings are quit e nice and the park is great, but inside it is not."

"Lovely, spacious and well appointed property. The gardens are very well kept and all our needs were catered for. The children loved the space, pool and play area. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedding was fresh, clean and tidy. It is secure and safe environment and we will use it again. "Lovely small cottage with a great view of Salobrena and also the Sierra Nevadas. Even with my limited Spainish we were made welcome by our host Virginia who then showed us around the town. Even though it was mid winter the weather was good, there were a number of restaurants still open. The accommodation is easily accessible to town then to the highways and we were able to go skiing one day and visit beaches later on. I can see this place being slightly less congested over the busy summer months...

"We had a lovely stay at this property in Calahonda. It was very clean, obviously quite recently renovated and had everything we needed. Centrally located and close to the beach. While parking was not provided, we had no difficulty in finding parking spots close by."
